About the Car

2025 Toyota Proace Comfort BEV

The PROACE and PROACE CITY have long spearheaded the transition to battery electric powertrains in Toyota’s range of light commercial vehicles (LCV). Offering electric and hybrid options for every model, they provide a more sustainable choice for customers aiming to reduce their carbon footprint.

  • The 2025 Toyota Proace BEV is part of Toyota’s effort to introduce electric and hybrid powertrains to its light commercial vehicle range.
  • The 2024 models of PROACE and PROACE CITY feature updates in design, enhancing their road presence and practicality with LED headlights and new alloy wheel options.
  • Infotainment upgrades include a 10-inch color multimedia display, standard DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB-C ports, and smartphone integration, with higher trims offering a 10-inch digital instrument cluster and TomTom navigation.
  • Safety systems such as pre-collision, lane keep assist, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control are now standard across most trims.
  • The PROACE range offers versatile formats, including options for medium and long body lengths, and the new Crew Cab Premium grade offers extra comfort for up to five passengers.
  • The updated electric powertrain for the PROACE BEV delivers up to 136 hp and increases the driving range to 350 km (WLTP) with a 75 kWh battery, supported by fast-charging technology.
  • The regenerative braking system allows drivers to select different levels of braking to maximize energy recovery and extend the driving range.
  • Diesel engine options include two 2.0-liter variants (145 hp and 180 hp) and a 1.5-liter engine exclusively for the PROACE van, offering flexibility for customers needing different power outputs.
  • The PROACE’s cargo area provides up to 6.6 m³ of load capacity, with a 1,400 kg payload and towing capability of up to 2,500 kg, making it suitable for various work requirements.
  • Wheelchair conversions are available with features such as a lowered floor, foldable rear entry ramp, LED lighting, and optional electric winch to accommodate mobility needs.

Enhanced Models for 2024

The 2024 PROACE and PROACE CITY models benefit from new design and equipment updates. These enhancements elevate their appeal by combining practical load-carrying capabilities with improvements in comfort, safety, and convenience. The models now sport a sleeker look, thanks to a redesigned front with clean, powerful lines. On the PROACE CITY, the lower grille adopts a trapezoidal shape, mirroring Toyota’s latest design cues. The updated models also feature full LED headlights and new alloy wheels for a tougher, more modern appearance.

Advanced Infotainment

The 2025 Toyota Proace BEV comes with improved technology, including a 10-inch color multimedia display (except for the entry-level trims) and new USB-C ports. DAB radio, Bluetooth, and smartphone integration via MirrorLink are standard features. Higher trims include a 10-inch digital instrument cluster and an embedded navigation system with a three-year TomTom subscription.
