Distinct Identity: The 2025 Suzuki Dzire breaks away from its Swift origins, showcasing a unique design and mature styling.
-
Efficient Powertrain: Equipped with a new 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine, the Dzire offers impressive fuel efficiency, reaching up to 25.7 km/L.
Enhanced Safety: Achieving a 5-star Global NCAP rating, the Dzire sets a new benchmark for safety in its segment.
Grown-Up Looks, Finally
You’d be forgiven for thinking the Dzire was still tethered to the Swift’s apron strings — but not anymore. The 2025 Suzuki Dzire breaks free with a look that’s cleaner, more mature.
Up front, it wears a squared-off fascia with new rectangular headlamps flanking a bold grille. Side-on, the silhouette flows smoother than before, helped by some curvature over the wheel arches and a more proportionate trunk. Around back, the tail lights go square, matching the overall geometric vibe. It's still compact, but the lines are more confident now — less budget, more balanced.
Efficient Heart, Familiar Size
Under the hood, Suzuki’s dropped the old four-pot in favor of a 1.2L three-cylinder engine. Output is modest — 81 hp and 112 Nm — but that’s not the point.
Fuel economy is. And here, it scores well: 24.8 km/L (manual) and 25.7 km/L (AMT) on paper. No major performance jumps, but this one’s about stretching fuel — and likely lowering emissions too.
Transmissions? A 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automated manual (AMT). Simple, predictable, and built for light-footed city duty.
Interior Shares with the Swift — Mostly
Hop inside and things will look familiar if you’ve seen the new Swift. The dashboard layout, tan-and-black trim, and central touchscreen all carry over. It’s tasteful, but still budget-conscious.
Base trims get the essentials — touchscreen infotainment, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering controls, voice commands. Go higher and you unlock extras like a 6-speaker setup, 360-degree camera, sunroof, and cruise control. Practical upgrades, not flash.
Safety Is the Big Story Here
This is where the new Dzire really steps up. It scored five stars in Global NCAP testing — a first for the model and a major bragging right in its class.
Standard safety kit now includes six airbags, ESP, hill hold, ISOFIX, and ABS with EBD. It’s clear Suzuki is gunning for peace of mind, not just affordability.
Positioned Smarter, Built Better
There’s no denying it — the 2025 Dzire feels like Suzuki’s trying to move it out of the “budget-but-boring” bin. It won’t chase down turbo rivals or outshine premium interiors, but that’s not the brief.
This car is for the daily commute, the school run, the Uber route. And in those roles, it just got a lot more appealing — not just because it saves fuel, but because it finally looks and feels more complete.
