2025 Singer Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe

By Team Dailyrevs

  • Singer's latest creation is a 964-based homage to the 1980s 911 Carrera, featuring a wide-body design and pop-up headlights.

  • The 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, developed with Cosworth, produces 420 hp and revs beyond 8000 rpm.

  • Only 100 units will be built, each tailored to the owner's specifications.

A Familiar Shape, Sharpened

The 2025 Singer Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe doesn’t shout. It nods. Mostly to 1984. Based on the 964 chassis like previous builds, this one leans hard into the G-series era with squared-off lines, pop-up headlights, and a stance that feels both planted and playful.

The carbon fiber body is wide, a visual callback to the M491 "Turbo Look" package. Pop-up lights? They’re a love letter to the past — more quirky than necessary, and that’s exactly why they work. Subtle vents ahead of the rear arches sharpen the profile, without stealing attention from the silhouette. The bumpers are thin, clean, and unmistakably analog. Singer’s touch is precise, but not precious.

420 Horses, No Turbos, No Nonsense

Underneath that lovingly reworked skin is a flat-six that means business. A naturally aspirated 4.0-liter engine, developed in collaboration with Cosworth, pumps out 420 hp and revs beyond 8,000 rpm. No forced induction. No hybrid boost. Just mechanical honesty.

This is Singer’s first time adding variable valve timing to one of its NA builds. It’s not just for peak numbers — it smooths things out lower in the rev range too. Water-cooled heads help with thermal management, but the rest of the engine keeps the familiar air-cooled vibe. You can imagine the sound. Mechanical. Raw. Satisfying.

Inside? Probably Perfect, but Quiet for Now

Singer hasn’t shown much of the cabin yet, but if history’s a guide, it’ll be beautifully finished with obsessive attention to detail. Expect thin-rimmed wheels, proper gauges, and just enough comfort. Probably leather. Probably tweed. Definitely analog.

Each car is tailored to its owner — down to the stitching, switchgear, and seat foam. With only 100 units planned, every single one will feel like a bespoke build. Because it is.

Rivals? Not Really — It’s in Its Own Lane

There’s not much like this on the road. Modern 911s — like the upcoming 992.2 Carrera GTS — are heading toward hybrid territory. This car? It skips all that. No screens. No driver aids. No software updates. Just a hand-built, high-revving tribute to the analog era.

You might compare it to a Restomod from Gunther Werks or a bespoke Backdate, but Singer’s execution, especially with this kind of homage and production cap, puts it in rare air.

This isn’t just a nostalgia play. It’s a well-judged, deeply considered piece of design and engineering. The 2025 Singer Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe doesn’t try to out-tech the future — it distills the past. For some drivers, that’s the entire point.
