Second Model Generation
Ten years after its initial launch, the Macan now enters its second generation as an all-electric SUV. With a focus on Porsche's characteristic performance, long-distance range, and everyday practicality, the new Macan 4 and Macan Turbo aim to meet all customer expectations. Electric Powertrain
The Macan utilizes the latest generation of PSM electric motors on the front and rear axles, delivering excellent efficiency. The Macan 4 provides up to 300 kW (408 PS) of overboost power, while the Macan Turbo reaches up to 470 kW (639 PS). The models accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.2 and 3.3 seconds, respectively, and achieve top speeds of 220 and 260 km/h.
Premium Platform Electric
The new Macan features a lithium-ion battery with a gross capacity of 100 kWh, integrated into the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800-volt architecture. This setup allows the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 21 minutes at a suitable fast-charging station.
Aerodynamics and Design
With sharper proportions and Porsche Design DNA, the new Macan models present a dynamic and dominant appearance. The design includes a shallow bonnet pitch, pronounced wings, and staggered tyre fitment on up to 22-inch wheels. The headlights and rear end are designed for optimal aerodynamics and efficiency.
Interior Space and Practicality
The new Macan offers increased luggage space due to electrification, with up to 540 litres behind the rear seat and an additional 84-litre front luggage compartment. The interior features a lower seating position for both front and rear passengers, increased legroom, and a light, airy feel thanks to large windows and modern digital interfaces.
Driver Experience
The Macan is equipped with the latest-generation display and operating concept, featuring up to three screens, including a 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster and a 10.9-inch central display. The new Porsche Driver Experience includes a head-up display with augmented reality technology.
Driving Dynamics
The Macan 4 and Macan Turbo feature all-wheel drive and electronically controlled Porsche Traction Management (ePTM) for exceptional driving dynamics. The Macan also offers optional rear-axle steering for a compact turning circle and exceptional driving stability at higher speeds.
Since its launch in 2014, Porsche has delivered more than 800,000 Macan models worldwide. The all-electric successor, produced in a net carbon neutral way at Porsche Plant Leipzig, will be delivered to customers during the second half of the year.
