2025 ORA 03

By Team Dailyrevs

  • The 2025 Ora 03 blends retro-inspired design with modern electric performance, offering a unique presence in the compact EV segment.

  • With two battery options—48 kWh and 63 kWh—it caters to both city commuters and those needing extended range.

  • Starting at £24,995 in the UK, it positions itself competitively against rivals like the MG4 and Renault Zoe.

Design: Classic Curves, Contemporary Stance

Let’s get this out of the way — the 2025 Ora 03 isn’t trying to blend in. With its big, circular LED headlights and soft, rounded bodywork, it leans hard into nostalgia. There’s something Beetle-ish about it. Or maybe it’s just got that general ‘60s small car vibe that turns heads without trying too hard.

It’s compact — 4,235 mm long, 1,825 mm wide, 1,603 mm tall — but it feels substantial. The proportions are tight, planted, and the 18-inch wheels push the body outward just enough to give it presence. Not aggressive, not overly stylized. Just playful, in a way a lot of EVs forget to be.

Inside: Slick Screens Meet Soft Touches

The interior is another surprise. You’ve got twin 10.25-inch screens across the dash, but it doesn’t scream tech overload. There’s a nice balance — touchscreen convenience, but still physical controls where they matter. Leatherette seats, wireless charging, 360-degree camera. Feels more premium than you'd expect at this price point.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard — wired, not wireless. Slight bummer. But hey, at this price, hard to complain.

Powertrain and Performance: Enough for Real Life

Ora’s offering two battery options:

  • 48 kWh for around 310 km

  • 63 kWh good for roughly 420 km (WLTP)

Both feed a 126 kW (169 hp) motor with 250 Nm of torque. Quick enough — 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds. Top speed is capped at 160 km/h, but this isn’t built to chase Autobahn fantasies. It’s made for cities. Tight streets. Weekend getaways.

Market Positioning: Priced for the People

In the UK, the 2025 Ora 03 PURE starts at £24,995. PRO jumps to £28,995, and GT stretches to £32,995. Considering it undercuts many rivals and comes well-equipped, it’s punching above its weight. Rivals? MG4, Renault Zoe, maybe even the MINI Electric if you're stretching the vibe comparison.

And while brand recognition may still be growing in Europe, the Ora 03 feels like it’s got enough character to do some of the talking.

Final Word

The 2025 Ora 03 isn’t here to be subtle. It’s funky, different, and delivers the essentials without the usual EV seriousness. And that’s a good thing. Not everyone wants their electric car to look like a spaceship. Some just want it to feel… fun. And Ora gets that.
