Company founder John Hennessey emphasizes the old-school driving engagement that the Venom F5-M Roadster offers. Clients had long been asking for a manual version of the Venom F5, and now it has been realized in the form of the F5-M Roadster. The car is built to provide full sensory feedback, with every aspect of the vehicle designed to connect the driver with the car’s power, sound, and performance.
Hennessey’s engineers, including calibration expert Brian Jones, have remapped the engine and adjusted the gearing ratios to balance power delivery with control. The manual transmission allows for the precise application of the car's 1,817 bhp, ensuring both rapid acceleration and manageable power distribution, particularly when transferring power to the road through the rear wheels.
Only 12 models of the Venom F5-M Roadster will be produced, each priced at $2.65 million. All units are already sold, and each features a unique livery exclusive to the model range. Owners will have the opportunity to personalize their hypercar with one-off colors and carbon fiber treatments. A standout feature of the Venom F5-M is the addition of a 55-inch dorsal fin that stretches from the roof-mounted air scoop to the rear deck.
The interior of the Venom F5-M Roadster features a redesigned layout with a prominent aluminum and carbon fiber gear shifter, positioned close to the driver for an optimal shifting experience. The shifter sits within a six-speed gate, milled from billet aluminum, offering a tactile and precise connection to the gearbox. The interior’s attention to detail is in line with Hennessey’s commitment to craftsmanship and precision.
Nathan Malinick, Hennessey’s Director of Design, describes the Venom F5-M Roadster as bold and authentically American. The design of the car reflects this philosophy, with a bespoke livery that highlights the car’s lines and open roof. Exposed carbon fiber is paired with accent stripes that run from the front to the rear, emphasizing the car’s sporty and aggressive design. This design theme continues inside the cockpit, with a central console that mirrors the car’s exterior lines.
The cockpit itself has been reimagined with horizontal air outlets, a billet aluminum slot for the key, and jet-fighter-inspired toggle switches for the windows. The open-top manual design builds on the legacy of the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder, the current world record holder for the fastest convertible road car, which achieved 265.6 mph in 2016. The Venom F5-M Roadster carries forward this tradition of extreme performance with modern enhancements.
Hennessey has delivered 24 semi-automatic Venom F5 Coupe, Roadster, Revolution, and Special Series models to clients worldwide. All 12 Venom F5-M Roadsters have already been sold, contributing to the total 30-unit run of Roadster models. Each car is unique, with exclusive colors that are removed from Hennessey’s configurator once chosen, ensuring total exclusivity for each owner.
