On April 17, the official photo of the E08, the first flagship new energy MPV under Chery’s high-end brand Xingtu, was officially released. The new car was built by the Xingtu Europe and Shanghai styling teams to showcase the concept of Fusion Luxury and open the 2.0 chapter of Xingtu's "Wind Aesthetics". The concept car will debut at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show.
As the first model jointly created by Xingtu Europe and the Shanghai styling team, E08 continues Xingtu's "wind aesthetics" design language, integrating the natural connotation of Eastern culture with Western aesthetics. Judging from the pictures released this time, the E08 adopts the One Box integrated design concept, with smooth and natural body lines and a simple and pure shape.
The front face of the new car is inspired by the "Cyber Butterfly" family design of the Star Era series, and is called the "Phoenix Feather Butterfly Face" front face design. The design of the front grille is inspired by Western-style chandeliers, with curved surfaces on both sides of the grille. The headlights adopt an L shape, echoing the front and rear.
The side of the car body is relatively flat, showing sculptural light and shadow changes, and the overall style is grand and luxurious. According to official information, its large door "black technology" can be opened directly to the third row, maximizing the convenience for passengers to enter and exit. The rear of the new car is also relatively simple, and the application of L-shaped light groups is the finishing touch of the rear.
Xingtu has now formed two series, Xingtu and Xingjiyuan, covering 6 products including cars and SUVs in fuel, hybrid, extended range, and pure electric all-range power forms. The launch of the flagship MPV E08 will further enrich Xingtu's product matrix brings more diversified car usage scenarios to users.
