2025 Audi A6 Sportback e-tron C9 UK Version

By Team Dailyrevs

  • Up to 756 km (469 miles) of WLTP range with 800V fast charging.

  • Sleek Sportback design with a drag coefficient of 0.21.

  • Multiple powertrains: RWD, AWD, and a high-performance S6 variant.

Audi’s Electric Strategy Gets Serious

Audi’s been hinting at this for a while, but now it’s real: the 2025 Audi A6 Sportback e-tron is a proper electric luxury sedan — not a retrofit, not a halfway effort. Built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) co-developed with Porsche, it’s all-new underneath, even if the name’s familiar.

The overall package looks ready to go head-to-head with EV players like the BMW i5 and Mercedes EQE. But Audi’s doing things its way — clean design, quiet confidence, no drama.

Form Follows Aerodynamics

First impressions? It’s sleek. The Sportback shape isn’t just for style — Audi claims a 0.21 drag coefficient, which is impressive for something this long and substantial. The closed-off grille has a mesh-like graphic, more sculptural than functional, flanked by thin matrix LED headlights that look laser-sharp in press photos.

Flush handles, a full-width rear light bar, and optional illuminated Audi rings add detail without noise. It doesn’t scream “electric car,” and that’s the point.

Cabin: Calm, Digital, Thoughtful

Inside, the A6 e-tron feels like it was designed to be driven and lived in — not just shown off on a concept stand. There’s a big 14.5-inch OLED display that curves slightly toward the driver. Next to it, a 10.9-inch display for the front passenger. Add the 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and yeah, there are a lot of screens — but they’re integrated cleanly.

Materials lean sustainable. Audi offers recycled textiles and synthetic leather alternatives, though they still feel upscale. Light piping and a large panoramic roof help open up the space. It’s a quiet kind of luxury.

Powertrains: Pick Your Flavor

The A6 Sportback e-tron lineup isn’t one-size-fits-all. Audi’s offering three powertrain configurations right out of the gate:

  • RWD Model: 375 hp, 0–100 km/h in 5.4 seconds, max range 756 km (WLTP)

  • Quattro AWD: 456 hp, hits 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, up to 716 km

  • S6 e-tron Performance: 543 hp, 0–100 in 3.7 seconds, ~520 km range (EPA est.)

All versions use the same 100 kWh battery (94.4 kWh usable) and 800-volt tech. That means ultra-fast charging — 10 to 80% in about 21 minutes under ideal conditions. Real-world? Still fast enough for coffee and a stretch.

Where It Fits in the EV Crowd

The 2025 Audi A6 Sportback e-tron doesn’t reinvent the formula. It just refines it. It’s comfortable, fast, handsome — and it doesn’t try too hard to prove it’s electric. That may be its biggest strength.

The segment is filling up, but this A6 has the polish and flexibility to stay relevant — especially for buyers who want luxury with fewer compromises and less flash.

Let me know if you'd like a press-ready version next.
