2024 Subaru WRX Project Midnight
About the Car
2024 Subaru WRX Project Midnight
Subaru Motorsports USA officially presents “Project Midnight,” the fastest WRX to date, debuting July 11-14 at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Built for outright speed, this model evolves from the record-breaking "Airslayer" Gymkhana car, enhancing the legacy of rallycross performance.
Origins and Evolution
Project Midnight draws inspiration from Airslayer, a 2020 Subaru WRX STI featured in Gymkhana 2020. Known for its stunts and record-breaking feats, Airslayer's design and purpose were reimagined to focus solely on tarmac speed with the current WRX platform. The vehicle is piloted by Scott Speed, a seasoned driver with experience in F1 and rallycross.
