Unveiled in October 2020, the European version of the 2024 Renault Arkana stands as a remarkable testament to the Renaulution's resounding success. With an impressive sales figure of 163,000 units (240,000 worldwide, including Renault Korea Motors' XM3), the Arkana has played a pivotal role in Renault's ambitious plan to recapture the C-segment market. Alongside the Megane E-Tech electric and Austral, this distinguished Coupe SUV has made its mark in markets across continents, from Australia, New Zealand, and Japan to Israel and Chile. Notably, the upmarket R.S. Line and E-Tech Engineered variants have contributed significantly to its triumph, accounting for 53% of the European sales mix in 2023. Leading the powertrain preferences is the E-tech full hybrid 145 hp, representing an impressive 63% of sales in Europe during the first half of 2023.
NEW LOOK: Elevating Style and Design
Presenting the new iteration of the Arkana, Renault showcases a harmonious blend of originality, commanding presence, and robust build, all while embracing the brand's fresh identity in the "Nouvelle Vague." The grille now features the Nouvel'R logo seamlessly integrated into a Deep Glossy Black band that connects the headlights. The grille itself exhibits a captivating new pattern, an artistic arrangement of diamonds reverberating around the central diamond. This three-dimensional effect carves out the edges of the diamonds, adding depth to the design. Depending on the trim level—Evolution, Techno, or Esprit Alpine—these distinctive features are offered in Black, Satin Chrome, or Dark Chrome, further emphasizing the upmarket shift. Additionally, the upper grille's vertical pattern complements the design of the lower bumper grille.
The aerodynamic blade, previously a hallmark of the R.S. Line and E-Tech Engineered versions, now adorns the bumper of the Techno and Esprit Alpine trims. In the Techno variant, the blade matches the body color, while in the Esprit Alpine, it features a Satin Grey finish. The rear of the Arkana boasts a Dark Chrome logo at the center of the tailgate, harmonizing with the front design elements, lettering, and tailpipes. Adding a modern touch, the lights now feature subtly smoked crystal-like covers. Further accentuating the overall aesthetic, the decorative features such as the grille and window rims have been replaced with Black, Satin Black, or Deep Glossy Black finishes, depending on the version.
