2024 Ford Raptor T1+ Targets Dakar Rally

With its sights set on the grueling off-road Dakar Rally, Ford Performance, alongside top minds in off-road racing, has engineered the new 2024 Ford Raptor T1+ – a pinnacle of Raptor design and capability. This truck integrates learnings from this year’s Dakar Rally to deliver advanced suspension, V8 performance, and a purpose-built design to conquer the most unforgiving rally raid terrains. The Raptor T1+ debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and was engineered in collaboration with Ford Performance partners, M-Sport Ltd.

• Ford Performance and M-Sport Ltd. collaborated on the Raptor T1+, incorporating lessons from this year's Dakar Rally.
• The Raptor T1+ features a front and rear independent double-wishbone suspension, designed in partnership with Fox.
• It is equipped with a 5.0L Coyote-based V8 engine, delivering significant power and torque for rugged terrain.
• The vehicle combines T45 steel spaceframe and carbon fiber body panels for enhanced durability and performance.
• The Raptor T1+ has 400mm ground clearance, a wide stance for stability, and a distinctive grille with FORD across the front.
• The vehicle has a minimum weight of 2,010kgs, a width of 2,300mm, and an approach angle over 70°.
• The competition schedule includes 2024 Baja Hungary, 2024 Rallye du Maroc, and the 2025 Dakar Rally.
• Drivers include Carlos Sainz Sr. with navigator Lucas Cruz, and Nani Roma with navigator Alex Haro, with additional teams to be announced.
• The Raptor T1+ aims to enhance Ford's global off-road racing reputation and improve future Raptor vehicles based on competition learnings.
