2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray Convertible: Hybrid Sports Car with Electrified Performance

The 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray Convertible is the first-ever electrified Corvette, featuring a hybrid powertrain with all-wheel-drive. This new Corvette combines the power of its naturally aspirated V8 engine with the instant torque of an electric motor for exhilarating performance.

Powertrain and Performance

The 2024 Corvette E-Ray Convertible has a 6.2L LT2 V8 engine making 495 horsepower paired with a front-mounted electric motor providing an additional 160 horsepower. Total system output is 655 horsepower, making this the most powerful production Corvette yet.

The electric motor provides instant low-end torque, helping the E-Ray accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds. It also enables all-wheel-drive traction and control in low grip conditions. A 1.9 kWh battery pack provides power to the electric motor and charges through regenerative braking.

Design and Styling

The E-Ray Convertible features wider, more aggressive styling inspired by the Corvette Z06. It has a unique set of 20-inch and 21-inch alloy wheels and is available in 14 exterior colors. The interior offers customizable options with new color schemes and trim materials.

Technology and Features

The E-Ray Convertible comes equipped with Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential, and Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires. It also has new driver assistance features including lane keep assist and forward collision alert.
