2024 Buick Electra E4

Buick today continued the expansion of its electric vehicle lineup in China with the launch of the Electra E4 premium electric coupe SUV.

The brand’s second EV developed on the Ultium platform features Buick’s enhanced styling and versatility along with the Virtual Cockpit System and available Super Cruise driver assist technology. The Electra E4 is also the first electrified model being offered with a sporty GS variant.

The Electra E4 comes standard with two-wheel drive. The top-of-the-range GS model offers all-wheel drive and an enhanced range. The four Electra E4 variants are priced between RMB 189,900 and RMB 259,900. The model is being rolled out at Buick EV City Galleries and EV Zones at showrooms nationwide, with deliveries starting soon.

Ultium-based performance and safety

Thanks to the state-of-the-art Ultium platform, the Electra E4 fully integrates GM’s global EV expertise and local innovation for outstanding performance, safety and sustainability.

The standard variant’s battery pack has a capacity of 65 kWh, providing a CLTC range of up to 530 km on a single charge. Its permanent magnet synchronous motor in front delivers maximum power of 180 kW and maximum torque of 330 Nm, while enabling energy consumption as low as 13.4 kWh/100 km.  

The GS AWD variant features an additional induction asynchronous motor in the rear, providing maximum power of 211 kW and maximum torque of 465 Nm, along with a CLTC range of 620 km on a single charge. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds.
