Recently, we learned from BAIC Motor that the Beijing EU5 PLUS R600 Premium Edition has been launched, priced at 158,900 yuan. The car is positioned as a pure electric compact car, equipped with a 163-horsepower electric motor and an NEDC cruising range of 501km. The new car is a large customer version. Compared with the 2023 R600 Exclusive Edition, it mainly adds two configurations: a home charging component and an on-board emergency firefighting medical kit. From a price point of view, the same-class models of Beijing EU5 PLUS include BYD Qin PLUS EV, Aian AION S, Geely Geometry A, etc.

The front face shape of the new car is expected to remain consistent with the 2023 model. The closed grille style is relatively simple, with sharp lines highlighting the sense of hierarchy. The two sides are still equipped with LED headlights, and the center is equipped with a through-shaped decorative strip, which together with the sports-style surround below makes the new car more energetic as a whole.

The side of the new car is expected to remain the same as the 2023 model. It may be equipped with wheels of different shapes. The tire size is still 215/50 R17. Looking at the rear of the car, the car is equipped with the popular through-type taillights, and the lower surround adopts a sporty design, echoing the shape of the front face.

In terms of interior, the new car is expected to be equipped with dual 12.3-inch connected screens. At the same time, the car system will be equipped with personalized wallpapers, Amap maps, etc. In addition, the car is also equipped with a heat pump air conditioner. It is worth mentioning that the steering wheel adopts a flat-bottomed sports shape, and the overall design is relatively refined. The seats are in black and yellow colors, which further highlights the youthful and sporty style.

In terms of power, the Beijing EU5 PLUS R600 Premium Edition uses a single motor front-wheel drive with a maximum power of 163 horsepower and a peak torque of 240 N·m. The car is equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack with a battery capacity of 60.7kWh and an NEDC cruising range of 501 kilometers. In terms of charging, the car's fast charging takes 0.5 hours (30%-80% battery/25 degrees Celsius), and slow charging takes 10 hours.
