2024 Baojun Yunhai

On May 13, we obtained the official official photo of Baojun’s new compact SUV, the Yunhai model. The car is built on the Tianyu architecture D platform and is equipped with a new generation of Lingmo smart driving. It is the first SUV model of the Baojun brand with a range of 600 kilometers. At the same time, the pure electric version will be launched within the third quarter.

In terms of appearance, the new car uses a closed front grille with similar L-shaped headlights and a trapezoidal air intake below, making the car highly recognizable overall. At the same time, it is equipped with a slightly shovel-shaped front lip shape, which also appropriately adds to the sporty feel of this car.

Looking from the side of the body, the new car adopts a traditional door handle shape, with slightly raised wheel eyebrow lines at the front and rear and a rich waistline design, giving it a full sense of design. At the same time, it is also equipped with a new style of low wind resistance wheels, which is very young. Regarding the rear, based on the declaration information, the overall shape of the car is very simple, and the addition of through-type taillights enriches the visual layering. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are: 4541*1880*1608mm, and the wheelbase is 2750mm, which is considered a standard compact SUV size.

In addition to the official image of the pure electric version released this time, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology also exposed the application image of the plug-in hybrid version. Its overall shape is basically the same as that of the pure electric version, and it is only distinguished by the details of the front. In terms of power, the pure electric version is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 150 kilowatts and a CLTC cruising range of 600 kilometers. The hybrid system equipped with the plug-in hybrid version consists of a 1.5L engine with a maximum power of 78kW and an electric motor, but the parameters of the electric motor are currently unclear.
