A Visionary Technological Marvel

As a torchbearer for iconic sports cars like the 959, Carrera GT, and the 918 Spyder, the Mission X paves the way for the evolution of future vehicle concepts. Exquisite Design Reimagined

At the core of the Mission X lies an unwavering commitment to the essence of the Porsche brand. Michael Mauer, Head of Style Porsche, affirms that this concept study represents a harmonious blend of unmistakable motorsport DNA and luxurious aesthetics. The Mission X’s sculpted form and sleek lines exude elegance and power, defying the notion that hypercars must be aggressive in appearance.

Unveiling Captivating Features

Measuring approximately 177 inches in length and 78.7 inches in width, the Mission X concept study is a compact yet commanding hypercar. Adorned with 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear, this car’s aerodynamic design is both striking and purposeful.

The Mission X’s exterior showcases classic brand elements reinterpreted with a modern twist. The body, finished in the elegant Rocket Metallic paint color, boasts carbon fiber components beneath the beltline, lending a sophisticated touch. The rear of the vehicle mesmerizes with a full-length light unit, featuring transparent, illuminated Porsche lettering that pulses while charging.

An Inviting Driver-Centric Haven

Stepping into the Mission X reveals a carefully curated interior that embodies asymmetry and a captivating color concept. The driver’s seat, adorned with Andalusia Brown leather pads, creates a harmonious unity of color with the center console and dashboard, while the passenger seat boasts a contrasting Andalusia Brown shade. The open-top steering wheel, equipped with mode switches and shift paddles, evokes a true motorsport feel. Moreover, the interior is equipped with multiple cameras, enabling drivers to capture their exhilarating experiences on the road.

Setting New Technological Benchmarks

Porsche’s commitment to e-performance and sustainable mobility is paramount in the Mission X. If this concept transitions to series production, it aims to break records, delivering exceptional power-to-weight ratio, outstanding downforce, and improved charging performance. With a central battery placement and an innovative 900-volt system architecture, the Mission X envisions being the fastest road-legal vehicle at the Nürburgring Nordschleife while charging twice as quickly as the current Porsche flagship, the Taycan Turbo S.

Paying Homage to a Legendary Lineage

The Mission X draws inspiration from Porsche’s groundbreaking super sports cars of the past: the legendary Porsche 959, the groundbreaking Carrera GT, and the record-breaking 918 Spyder. These iconic models paved the way for the Mission X, serving as the conceptual forerunners of this extraordinary concept car.

As we anticipate the future of sports cars, the Mission X Concept stands as a testament to Porsche’s commitment to innovation, performance, and unparalleled driving experiences. Stay tuned for further updates on this remarkable automotive marvel.
