2023 NIO Eden Concept
The 2023 NIO Eden Concept is a unique and futuristic electric concept vehicle from Chinese electric-vehicle maker Nio.
The Nio Eden was designed by Joonyoung Koo for his master’s thesis at the Hochschule Pforzheim University in early 2022.
The project name "EDEN" is a nod to the EVE concept car, ADAM supercomputing system, and Clean Parks long-term project, all part of NIO's DNA.
The Nio Eden features an abundance of glass in its design, including a windscreen that stretches to the front axle and seamlessly joined with the windows, roof panel, and rear decklid.
The front and rear halves of the glass roof even open up for easy ingress and egress, making a dramatic statement.
The advanced "metaverse controller" allows passengers to switch from the real world to the virtual world, providing an immersive driving experience.
The Nio Eden also boasts thin LED headlights, flared wheel arches, black and silver wheels, and a curved LED taillight.

What sets the Nio Eden apart is its stunning use of glass in its design. The windscreen stretches to the front axle and is seamlessly joined with the windows, roof panel, and rear decklid, creating an extremely spacious and airy cabin. The front and rear halves of the glass roof even open up, allowing for easy ingress and egress while making a dramatic statement.
Designed to be fully autonomous, the Nio Eden cabin is void of any traditional controls and instead features two lounge chairs and a rounded bench seat, all with ample legroom. The advanced “metaverse controller” allows passengers to switch from the real world to the virtual world, providing an immersive and innovative driving experience.
Other striking design elements of the Nio Eden include thin LED headlights, flared wheel arches, black and silver wheels, and a curved LED taillight. While we don’t expect to see Nio launch a vehicle like this anytime soon, the company has recently unveiled its ET5 Estate, which is expected to arrive in Europe in June before launching in China.
