Land Rover's new flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture, MLA-Flex, underpins every aspect of this luxury SUV, from its unmatched capability and agile handling to its peerless refinement. A pair of innovative Extended- Range plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) powertrains provide CO2 emissions as low as 18g/km, with a pureelectric driving range of up to 113km (70 miles), delivering an expected real-world range of up to 88km (54 miles) - enough for typical Range Rover customers to complete up to 75 per cent of trips using electric power only.

The new luxury SUV is available in SE, HSE and Autobiography models. A First Edition will be available throughout the first year of production, based on the Autobiography and featuring a unique specification. It is exclusively available in a Sunset Gold Satin finish, among a choice of five exterior colours. Both Standard (SWB) or Long Wheelbase (LWB) body designs are available with five seats, while the New Range Rover LWB model is available with a third row for extended comfort for up to seven adults.

The unbroken waistline showcases Land Rover's attention to detail as the rounded edge of the door meets the glass in a simple, clean finish thanks to a specially engineered hidden waist finisher. By eliminating unwanted noises, vibrations and distractions - and reducing the cognitive load on the driver and passengers - occupants will arrive at their destination feeling refreshed, even after the longest journeys.

Advanced speaker technology builds on the fundamental refinement provided by the MLA-Flex body architecture to deliver serene cabin calmness - ensuring passengers enjoy a first-class experience. It uses the 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System to create one of the quietest vehicle interiors on the road, with additional 20W speakers in the four main headrests for the most immersive sound experience.

The third-generation Active Noise Cancellation system monitors wheel vibrations, tyre noise and engine sounds transmitted into the cabin and generates a cancelling signal, which is played through the system's 35 speakers. These include a pair of 60mm diameter speakers in the headrests for each of the four main cabin occupants, which create personal quiet zones similar to the effect when using high-end headphones.

WELLBEING

The New Range Rover brings new levels of wellbeing to the luxury SUV sector and Cabin Air Purification Pro is the culmination of this pioneering technology. It combines dual-nanoeTM X technology for allergen reduction and pathogen removal, to help significantly reduce odours and viruses, while CO2 Management and PM2.5 Cabin Air Filtration enhance air quality. Advanced nanoeTM X technology is scientifically proven to significantly reduce viruses and bacteria including SARS-CoV-2 viruses. The innovative technology is active in the air, so particles don't have to pass through a filter to be trapped and neutralised. A second nanoeTM X device in Row 2 optimises its effectiveness for all occupants.

The Range Rover was the first luxury SUV to feature Electronic Air Suspension, in 1992, and the New Range Rover continues this pioneering approach with Dynamic Response Pro and pre-emptive suspension that uses eHorizon Navigation data to read the road ahead and prime the suspension to provide perfect responses.

The intelligent technology also works in conjunction with the Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist to smooth out body movements resulting from sudden changes in speed. Fully independent suspension underpins the luxurious ride and features Land Rover's first ever fivelink rear axle, which isolates the cabin from surface imperfections more effectively than ever using advanced air springs.

The New Range Rover is also the first Land Rover to feature Power Assisted Doors with integrated hazard detection and anti-pinch safety features, which enhance its Soft Door Close capability and ensure every trip begins and ends with effortless refinement and sophistication. All four passenger doors are power assisted - also controlled via the Pivi Pro screen - for elegant entry and exit in any situation, including at angles of up to 10 degrees while off-road. Advanced hazard detection means the doors can automatically pause until the sweep of the door is cleared. The practical two-piece split tailgate that has been a Range Rover hallmark since 1970 is updated for 2021, with a series of new technologies providing greater versatility and convenience.

Inside, the new Versatile Loadspace Floor protects luggage and enhances convenience. Its clever floor panel can be raised forward, across the width of the load area around its mid-point, forming a partition to contain smaller items and keep them within easy reach when unloading. It can also pivot backwards along its leading edge to serve as a backrest when using the lower tailgate as outdoor seating. The New Range Rover revolutionises the in-car experience with seamlessly integrated Amazon Alexa. Using intuitive natural voice commands goes one step beyond touchscreen or button interfaces in helping reduce cognitive load, providing a sense of effortless modern luxury. In this way, Alexa capabilities allow customers to manage everything from favourite infotainment features and music track selection to navigation or phone contacts - all while keeping their hands on the wheel, and eyes on the road.

Alexa voice AI is embedded within the New Range Rover, so users experience seamless interactivity and next-level convenience. Alexa capabilities also allow customers to check the news, weather and for any scheduled meetings using simple voice commands. The system can even turn on your lights at home and connect to other Alexa-enabled devices.

Alexa works in addition to Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Wireless Android Auto™ and can be initiated either by saying "Alexa" or pressing the Alexa button on the central touchscreen. It does not need any phone or external device to operate - only details of a customer's Amazon account and an internet connection - while wireless charging for Qi compatible smartphones keeps devices topped up.

13.1-INCH TOUCHSCREEN WITH CURVED GLASS & HAPTIC FEEDBACK

The New Range Rover elevates Land Rover's awardwinning Pivi Pro infotainment technology with its largest ever touchscreen. The 13.1- inch curved, floating screen embodies the architectural lightness of the interior with a minimalist frame design. It provides intuitive control of all the major vehicle functions, using the latest consumer technology to deliver a smartphone-inspired interface, allied to convenient hard switches for the climate control.

Pivi Pro works in harmony with an elegant new semifloating 13.7-inch Interactive Driver Display, which features new high-definition graphics based around a three-panel layout that intuitively reflects the design of the Pivi Pro homescreen. Customers can choose from a variety of configurations, including a conventional analogue layout, using the steering wheel controls.

For the first time in a Land Rover, the central display will provide haptic feedback when customers touch and press the screen. Allowing users to feel a positive confirmation without the need to glance at the screen, it reduces the need to look away from the road and makes Pivi Pro even more intuitive.

Rear passengers can enjoy a new Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) system, which provides adjustable 11.4-inch HD touchscreens mounted on the rear of the front seatbacks. They can be operated independently and support the connection of most devices with an HDMI port, while using Wi-Fi hotspot capability means rear-seat passengers can enjoy smart TV entertainment on the move. The eight-inch Rear Seat Touchscreen Controller mounted in the centre armrest of Executive Class Rear Seats provides quick and intuitive control for the perfect seating position, elevating the luxurious rear-seat experience.

1.2m INDIVIDUALLY CONTROLLABLE DIGITAL MICRO-MIRROR DEVICES (DMDS) IN EACH HEADLIGHT

Efficient and powerful all-LED lighting is provided on every New Range Rover, with the new high-definition Digital LED Headlights providing a beam range of up to 500m. They create an exceptional design detail and feature Signature daytime running lights, animated indicators, Adaptive Front Lighting and Image Projection technology on start-up, making them the most advanced headlights ever fitted to a Land Rover. Adaptive Front Lighting is capable of shadowing up to 16 objects in New Range Rover's path, ensuring other road users are not dazzled while maintaining optimum lighting for the driver. Predictive Dynamic Bending Light technology uses navigation information to actively adjust the light beam for approaching corners in the road.

New Manoeuvring Lights help drivers complete lowspeed manoeuvres in dimly lit surroundings with complete confidence, by creating a carpet of light around the perimeter of the vehicle, working with the 3D Surround Camera system to provide effortless manoeuvrability.

Drivers can even control the new Range Rover from outside the vehicle using Remote Park Assist, which is operated using a smartphone app. It allows the luxury SUV to manoeuvre into and out of parking spaces while the driver monitors progress nearby - perfect for entering or leaving narrow city spaces or negotiating rural gates.

This unrivalled breadth of dynamic capability is governed by Land Rover's Integrated Chassis Control - a single control system for a suite of advanced technologies that tailor the vehicle dynamics to suit every mile of every journey, to pre-emptively and reactively fine-tune the driving characteristics.

REAR AXLE STEERING PROVIDES UP TO 7.3° OF STEERING ANGLE

Every New Range Rover features All-Wheel Steering for an effortless drive with heightened high-speed stability and improved manoeuvrability at low speeds, ensuring it is equally at home on the open road and negotiating tight urban streets.

The electrically operated rear axle provides up to seven degrees of steering angle and, at low speeds, turns outof- phase of the front wheels, giving the New Range Rover a turning circle of less than 11m - the smallest of any Land Rover. At higher speeds the rear axle turns in phase with the front wheels for enhanced stability and comfort.

The New Range Rover is also the first Land Rover to feature Dynamic Response Pro. The powerful new active 48-volt electronic roll control system is faster-acting and more efficient than a hydraulic set-up, with a torque capacity of up to 1,400Nm fed into the anti-roll bars to keep body movements under control.

Fully independent air suspension isolates the cabin from surface imperfections more effectively than ever, for serene composure at all times. It combines industry-leading air springs volumes with twinvalve dampers - all managed by in-house-developed Adaptive Dynamics control software.

The intelligent All-Wheel Drive (iAWD) transmission is controlled by Land Rover's Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) system, which monitors grip levels and driver inputs 100 times a second to predictively distribute torque between the front and rear axles, and across the rear axle, for optimum traction on and off-road.

Every Range Rover also features an Active Locking Rear Differential. This optimises traction from the rear axle during high-speed cornering, on slippery surfaces and during off-road wheel articulation, delivering enhanced capability and driver confidence.

All of this technology feeds into Land Rover's awardwinning Terrain Response 2 system, which harnesses the various chassis systems to automatically provide the perfect settings for the surroundings, from a choice of six driving modes, to minimise driver workload across all terrains. Alternatively, the driver can select the most appropriate setting manually or, use Configurable Terrain Response to create a bespoke chassis set-up.

ELECTRIFIED EFFICIENCY

The New Range Rover maintains its compelling combination of effortless performance and peerless refinement with a comprehensive lineup of advanced six- and eight-cylinder powertrains. Spearheading Land Rover's Reimagine strategy, a pureelectric model will join the family in 2024, bringing fulltime zero tailpipe emissions driving to the Range Rover for the first time.

The New Range Rover provides electrified performance with a choice of new Extended- Range Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) powertrains, the P440e and P510e, and the latest mild-hybrid (MHEV) P360 and P400 Ingenium petrol and D250, D300 and D350 diesel engines. A powerful new petrol flagship - the P530 Twin Turbo V8 - delivers increased refinement and performance and is 17 per cent more efficient than the previous Range Rover V8.

The new Extended-Range PHEVs combine the inherent refinement of Land Rover's in-line six-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine with a 38.2kWh lithium-ion battery - with usable capacity of 31.8kWh - and a 105kW electric motor integrated with the transmission. Together, the powertrain provides up to 113km (70 miles) of near-silent pure-electric driving. With instantaneous electric torque the new P510e accelerates from 0-60mph in 5.3s (0- 100km/h in 5.6s).

The state-of-the-art PHEVs can reach up to 140mph (225 km/h) allowing customers to enjoy the New Range Rover as an EV-only model for most journeys in town and country, with overall CO2 emissions as low as 18g/km. Typical Range Rover customers will be able to complete up to 75 per cent of trips using electric power only if they begin each journey with a full charge. The clever packaging of the battery, beneath the vehicle and within the wheelbase, ensures both luggage space and all-terrain capability are uncompromised.

The use of advanced eHorizon navigation data also allows the hybrid system to optimise energy usage across a journey, to provide a peaceful arrival at a destination on electric power, while also optimising EV usage for travel in low emissions zones.

The six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines feature the latest 48-volt MHEV technology which harvests energy usually lost under deceleration and braking to boost fuel efficiency. The system's clever belt-integrated starter motor ensures more responsive and refined operation of the stopstart system and provides extra assistance to the engine when accelerating.

EXQUISITE PERSONALISATION

The New Range Rover SV provides an exquisite interpretation of Range Rover luxury and personalisation, giving customers even more scope to create a truly individual vehicle with a choice of exclusive design themes, details and material choices from SV.

This hand-crafted model is the first vehicle to carry the new ceramic SV roundel and simplified naming strategy - known simply as SV. The SV roundel represents the distillation of Special Vehicle Operations' design and engineering passion for modern luxury, performance and capability. The SV roundel will identify all new Land Rover vehicles launched by Special Vehicle Operations in the future.

Both Standard and Long Wheelbase body designs - including a five-seat LWB configuration for the first time - are available with specially curated SV Serenity and SV Intrepid design themes, which introduce two-tone front-to-rear contrasting colourways to Range Rover. NEW QUALITY BENCHMARK

The New Range Rover has been designed, developed and engineered in the UK and, during this process, Land Rover has filed no fewer than 125 patents covering everything from its pioneering chassis technologies to its PHEV battery. Land Rover's engineers used motorsportderived simulation technology to put the vehicle through its paces in the virtual world more comprehensively and intensively than ever, completing more than 140,000 hours of computational analysis prior to physical testing.

A fleet of prototypes then embarked on a punishing global test and development programme, taking in extreme temperatures ranging from the 45C heat of the desert to the -30C cold of the Arctic. The New Range Rover will be produced exclusively at the Solihull Manufacturing Facility in the UK, using a state-of-theart production line housed in the building used to produce early Series Land Rovers. The compelling new luxury SUV is the ultimate expression of the Range Rover family for discerning customers the world over, including Standard and Long Wheelbase body designs with a choice of four-, five- and, for the first time, seven-seat interior configurations.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

Presence and formality define Range Rover through the harmony of its proportions, surfaces and lines. All of these elements are part of Range Rover DNA and contribute to its unparalleled stature.

The New Range Rover is characterised by three lines that can trace their origins back through the generations; the falling roofline, strong waistline - with its horizontal emphasis - and lower rising sill. These trademark features create an almost teardrop shape and give the illusion of converging at a point far behind the vehicle.

The characteristically short front overhang, formal front end, upright windscreen and distinctive boat tail rear, which tapers in plan view, are key elements in defining Range Rover's proportions and conveying its peerless presence.

The front is confident, enhanced by its deeper grille graphic and intersecting headlights. The Digital LED headlight design has a jewellike quality as light reflects and refracts off the daytime running lights, providing a cut-glass effect. The front fog lights, forward radar and parking sensors are all concealed within the lower aperture, which is described by a clear horizontal graphic in satin chrome, for a clean and elegant appearance.

The solidity of the bodyside is achieved by unadorned surfaces, eliminating the unnecessary to highlight key features. The clamshell bonnet is a feature of every Range Rover since 1970 - part of that iconic form. Today, its shutline is halved compared to previous Range Rover, describing control and precision. This line continues in a single crease running the length of the vehicle and ending in an ingot shape at the rear quarter. This precise line emphasises the elegant sweep of the profile and is the only such feature on the side of the car.

The trademark signature side graphic is also completely flush and perfectly integrated with the surrounding surfaces. The modern interpretation of this elemental feature looks machined into the body, while the feature line that runs the length of the vehicle enhances the milled-fromsolid impression.

The lower edge of the side profile is defined by the 3D form of the Gloss Black sill. This adds lightness, catching the light and drawing the eye along the vehicle in the rising line of the boat tail, integrating with the rear bumper to wrap around the rear of the vehicle.

In profile, the floating roof graphic is another key part of the Range Rover DNA. This is emphasised by Gloss Black pillars and the elimination of the D-pillar trim, which is integrated into a single rear quarter glass.

The strong horizontal at the waist is defined by the unbroken waistline and rounded edge, where the door meets the glass in a simple, clean finish thanks to the innovative hidden waist finisher. Fully flush glazing, which removes any step between the glass and pillar adds to the appearance of a single, solid form. The top of the bodyside is similarly refined, with a smooth laser-welded interface rather than a traditional roof finisher.

The precise execution of these elements was not easy to achieve but reducing the number of joints and interfaces was a key component in creating the modernity desired for New Range Rover. The proportions have been finessed to give the New Range Rover the stature and presence customers have come to expect, with a roofline that is 10mm lower than before and new 23-inch alloy wheels - a first for Land Rover - which provide a planted and purposeful stance. The rear is perhaps the most strikingly modern view of New Range Rover. It incorporates all of the elements in our modernist philosophy with a single, crisp feature line which catches the light and describes the corners of the vehicle. The rear is defined by vertical taillights encased in a single Gloss Black panel. They are hidden-until-lit, with a horizontal section that integrates the other functional lights and defines the width of the vehicle. Precision here was critical to the success of the design and the way the rear lights are integrated with the overall form of the vehicle will become a Range Rover signature.

As a Range Rover, the new vehicle has a split tailgate but its hidden and minimised shutlines communicate a new level of precision, and the rear screen meets the bodywork seamlessly. Below the tailgate, the sweeping boat tail culminates in the bumper, which houses the rear fog lights and reflectors.

INTERIOR DESIGN

The New Range Rover has an equally compelling interior that is modern and sophisticated, underpinned by intuitive and relevant technologies. Its elegant and refined surfaces have been honed to work harmoniously with the finest materials and wellbeing innovations to create a calm sanctuary for all occupants, turning every trip into an experience to savour.

The front cabin proportions have an architectural lightness, elevated by a curved, floating glass 13.1-inch touchscreen. The largest ever touchscreen fitted to a Land Rover sits at the centre of the dashboard and Land Rover's award-winning Pivi Pro infotainment features haptic feedback, making the system even more user-friendly.

The excellent all-round visibility of Range Rover's Command Driving Position provides complete confidence with the facia's low top maximising forward vision. The elegant dashboard design features stratified horizontal layers - including exquisitely integrated air vents - so the major controls and features have a clear hierarchy, making the layout immediately intuitive and refined.

The instrument cluster is similarly engineered as a semi-floating glass panel, while the steering wheel echoes the interior theme, with a strong horizontal detail and hidden-until-lit controls.

Customers have a wider choice of materials and finishes than before, including innovative textiles and tactile Ultrafabrics™ with a continuation of Land Rover's pioneering relationship with Kvadrat™ - Europe's leading manufacturer of premium textiles.

A Kvadrat™ remix wool blend fabric will be offered on Range Rover as a leather-free interior option at the highest specification levels - a first for Range Rover. Its wool-blend is warm and cossetting, making it the perfect cloth to accompany the technical Ultrafabrics™ material. This soft-feeling PU material has all the tactile qualities of leather but is 30 per cent lighter and generates only a quarter of the CO2.

The choice of innovative materials extends to the floor mats. They are made using ECONYL® yarns, which are produced using recycled industrial plastic, fabric offcuts and reclaimed ocean plastics. This tactile and responsibly sourced material contains 40 per cent recycled content and embodies the concept of modern sustainable luxury. Customers can still choose luxurious leather with semiand, for the first time, nearaniline options. The new near-aniline choice is softer, with fewer treatments and less artificial pigmentation for a more natural feel while meeting Land Rover's demanding durability standards. These responsibly produced leathers have the natural finish and tactility of furniture-grade leather, with advanced techniques used to increase the utilisation of every hide by 10 per cent - saving over 42kg of CO2 equivalent per vehicle.

A selection of exquisitely finished veneers complement the upholstery and reflect the modernity of the New Range Rover including a choice of tactile open-pore wood finishes. Beautifully executed micrometal inlays feature for the first time, drawing the eye through the interior architecture of the centre console, emphasising the technical precision that defines the cabin.

The modernist interior design is embellished with sophisticated jewellery in the form of metal finishes, which have been precisely machined and use a sophisticated hierarchy of dark and satin chrome tones to create visual harmony.

The interior colour palette for the New Range Rover is warm, inviting and contemporary, influenced by refined and sophisticated modern architecture. Colour is used for zoning and for creating diverse experiences in different areas of the cabin that all work harmoniously. The attention to detail extends to the fabrics and is exemplified by the Kvadrat wool blend, which features woven yarns of different colours to create a nuanced effect, layering different shades throughout the textile.

Paint options for the new Range Rover include a selection of 12 solid, metallic and premium metallic shades, among them new Lantau Bronze, Belgravia Green, Batumi Gold and Charente Grey. In addition, customers can select from 14 specially developed SV Bespoke Premium Palette colours while the SV Bespoke Match-to-Sample service provides limitless scope for customisation.

Whether arriving at the opera or scaling a mountain, the New Range Rover elevates the concept of luxury travel by enhancing every element of experience - from the way customers interact with the vehicle digitally and physically, to the way it manages the health and wellbeing of its occupants. The new Flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA-Flex) provides strong foundations, while an integrated network of the smart technologies makes this the most advanced and luxurious SUV the world has ever seen. When combined with the hushed EV capability of the new Extended Range plug-in hybrids, it provides the ultimate interpretation of Range Rover refinement.

MLA-FLEX ARCHITECTURE

The New Range Rover's nextgeneration body structure provides the foundations for its transformational refinement. Flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA-Flex) delivers new levels of body stiffness and noise isolation.

Its flexibility ensures the New Range Rover is available in Standard and Long Wheelbase body designs and with a choice of powertrains, ranging from the new V8 petrol and Land Rover's Ingenium petrol and diesel mild-hybrid engines to efficient Extended Range plug-in hybrids and the forthcoming pureelectric powertrain.

By using the right material for each element of the design, Land Rover engineers have optimised weight and stiffness, creating three rings within the body structure at the A, C and D pillars. The intelligent use of high-strength steels - for example, in a fourth strengthening ring around the front door openings - and innovative casting techniques deliver torsional stiffness up to 50 per cent higher than before, even with a full-length panoramic roof.

The steel front bulkhead features a closed-section arrangement which provides a double-glazing effect - the transmission of noise and low-frequency vibrations from road surfaces into the cabin is 24 per cent lower than the previous generation, before the addition of the latest refinementenhancing technologies.

NEXT-GENERATION ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION

Active Noise Cancellation technology builds on the fundamental refinement provided by MLA-Flex to deliver one of the quietest cabins of any road vehicle - ensuring passengers enjoy a first-class experience using the 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System. The new flagship sound system also includes a pair of speakers in each of the four main headrests for a total of 1,680W and a truly unique sound experience.

The third-generation Active Noise Cancellation system monitors wheel vibrations, tyre noise and engine sounds transmitted into the cabin and generates a cancelling signal played through the system's 35 main speakers. It has five times the noise cancellation range of previous systems, up to 1kHz, thanks to the pair of 60mm diameter speakers in the headrests for each of the four main cabin occupants, which create personal zones throughout New Range Rover, using technology similar to that found in noise-cancelling headphones.

The advanced arrangement is a perfect example of the Systems Engineering that has defined the development of the New Range Rover. The multidisciplinary technology uses the same speakers for high fidelity music playback, Bluetooth telephone operation, Active Noise Cancellation, navigation instructions, parking alerts and even the driver warning sounds using 10 Digital Signal Processors. They deliver five times the processing power of the previous system and are capable of processing up to 50 separate audio streams.

The system has a wider frequency range than before and is able to direct alerts such as navigation instructions and warning sounds to the driver, with minimal distraction to passengers. The inherent refinement provided by MLA-Flex and the advanced aerodynamics of the New Range Rover combine with the intelligent system to deliver a tranquil cabin environment to rival the finest luxury sedans, allowing occupants to enjoy music reproduction in the purest of environments. Land Rover engineers used the Articulation Index - a measure of the ability to hold a conversation - to assess the refinement of the interior, and the New Range Rover is the quietest vehicle of its kind in the world with road, wind and structure noise all but eliminated.

AERODYNAMIC EXCELLENCE

Intelligent aerodynamics contribute significantly to the New Range Rover's hushed interior. Land Rover's Design and Engineering divisions have worked in close harmony to craft the unmistakable silhouette of a Range Rover with a drag coefficient from only 0.30 - the lowest of any luxury SUV.

A 10mm lower roofline reduces the frontal area with no compromise to interior space, while elegant fully flush doors and glazing minimise disturbance to the airflow as it passes down the side of the vehicle. The boat tail rear end ensures air departs the vehicle as cleanly as possible while the fine tolerances applied to the body assembly - which includes seamless laser-welded roof joints and a hidden waist finisher for a clean appearance where the door panels meet the window glass - also contribute to refinement by reducing wind noise.

Being electrified by design, all battery packs are positioned under the vehicle, without compromise, and the underfloor is enclosed by aero shields that have been designed to withstand allterrain driving while enhancing both refinement and efficiency. The attention to detail extends to aerodynamic teardrop-shaped recesses for the fixings and, in a first for Land Rover, aero covers for the rear suspension, which deliver a controlled separation of the underbody airflow.

Smart aerodynamic features such as Active Brake Cooling and intelligent Electronic Air Suspension, which automatically lowers the ride height by 16mm when travelling at speeds above 65mph (105km/h), ensure refinement and efficiency are always optimised.

WELLBEING: CABIN AIR TECHNOLOGY

The New Range Rover brings new levels of wellbeing to the luxury SUV sector with a range of advanced clean air systems. Cabin Air Purification Pro is the culmination of this technology. It combines dual-nanoeTM X technology for allergen reduction and pathogen removal to help significantly reduce odours and viruses, while CO2 Management and PM2.5 Cabin Air Filtration enhance air quality.

Advanced nanoeTM X technology is scientifically proven to significantly reduce viruses and bacteria including SARS-CoV-2 viruses. This clever technology is active in the air, so particles don't have to pass through a filter to be trapped and neutralised. It works by condensing moisture from cabin air and using high voltage to break it into tiny electrically charged particles. This produces trillions of Hydroxyl (OH) radicals enveloped in nano-sized water molecules, which react with airborne contaminants. The new system provides 20 times the number of OH radicals than previously, with a second unit for rear occupants providing consistent air quality throughout the cabin.

In independent testing in laboratory conditions, using Cabin Air Purification Pro over 30 minutes is 97 per cent effective in eliminating bacteria. In another independent test nanoeTM X has shown over 99 per cent elimination against SARS-CoV-2 viruses.

The new cabin purification system displays interior and exterior PM2.5 air quality levels on the central touchscreen. To optimise the quality of the cabin air, it also includes CO2 management which operates in harmony with the Purify feature, which can be initiated via the touchscreen. These features work with the cabin temperature controller to find the best balance between cleaning the air and keeping the occupants comfortable.

The CO2 Management feature is an enhancement of the cabin purification system. It monitors the concentration of carbon dioxide in the cabin and selectively introduces fresh air, which helps maintain driver alertness. The high efficiency Cabin Air Filtration features an active carbon layer to remove unpleasant odours and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), as well as an anti-allergen layer.

Using Land Rover's Remote app technology, the Deep Clean functionality allows customers to cleanse the cabin air prior to their journey and without the need for a remote engine start. It includes cabin purge and cabin purification functionality. All four-zone Climate Control vehicles come with an additional heater and airconditioning unit, and nanoeTM X device specifically for the rear cabin.

PRE-EMPTIVE ELECTRONIC AIR SUSPENSION

The New Range Rover's fully independent suspension underpins its luxurious ride comfort and features Land Rover's first ever five-link rear axle. It isolates the cabin from surface imperfections more effectively than ever before using advanced air springs.

The Range Rover was the first luxury SUV to feature Electronic Air Suspension (in 1992) and the latest model continues the pioneering approach with pre-emptive suspension that uses eHorizon Navigation data to read the road ahead and prime the suspension to provide the perfect responses.

New intelligent Electronic Air Suspension restricts roll and pitch by calibrating the suspension on the approach to individual bends, so the vehicle is always ready. Industry-leading air spring volumes combine with innovative twin-valve dampers that react within five milliseconds to provide optimum ride control.

By linking to the Adaptive Cruise Control, the technology also controls body pitch caused by speed changes, and Active Speed Lowering uses eHorizon data to detect when the vehicle is travelling on high-speed roads, activating faster than ever for heightened efficiency and control.

Electronic Air Suspension is governed by Land Rover's new Integrated Chassis Control, which incorporates a range of advanced systems to deliver effortless on-road composure and all-terrain capability. These technologies include Dynamic Response Pro with electronic Active Roll Control (eARC) and Adaptive Dynamics. The fastacting set-up generates up to 1,400Nm of torque to control lateral body movements, contributing to the New Range Rover's supreme composure. The lightweight system also aids efficiency and is responsible for up to 8g/km CO2 reduction compared to a hydraulic system.

POWER ASSISTED DOORS

The New Range Rover is the first Land Rover to feature Power Assisted Doors with integrated hazard and obstacle detection and anti-pinch safety features, ensuring every trip begins and ends with customary refinement and sophistication.

The effortless experience begins with the flush deployable door handles, which feature new Approach Unlock and Walkaway Locking with Proximity Sensing, so the doors unlock and the handles deploy automatically when a key fob is detected approaching the vehicle. When leaving the vehicle, customers can simply walk away and, once the key fob has left its immediate vicinity, the handles retract and the vehicle locks.

The Power Assisted Doors are designed to operate as naturally as possible and start working when a customer begins to open or close one of the doors - a partial pull on the exterior or interior handle will trigger the system and they open in three seconds. Rear Corner Radar sensors help detect approaching traffic from the rear, while ultrasonic sensors embedded in each door detect obstacles within their sweep and sense just how far to open. Anti-pinch and solid-state gyroscopes in each door take safety a step further and prevent objects being trapped when the doors are closing. The elegant operation has even been engineered to work in off-road environments and will hold the doors with up to 10 degrees of pitch and roll.

Once inside, the driver's door can also be closed by pressing the brake pedal. The doors can also be operated using the central touchscreen or an additional switch by the grab handles, while a switch on the end of each door and the door handle can be used to initiate closure from the outside. Alternatively, manual closure can be initiated by a simple push on the door.

The technology has endured 84,000 use cycles, in temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius, as part of the luxury SUV's comprehensive development programme. In combination with Elegant Arrival, which automatically lowers the body by 50mm to Access Height, and Deployable Side Steps, the intuitive door technologies maximise convenience and security when entering and exiting the vehicle. Security is assured by state-ofthe- art Ultra Wide Band (UWB) transceivers, which guard against thefts using copycat key devices. Jaguar Land Rover was one of the first vehicle manufacturers to introduce the pioneering technology and the innovative set-up resists relay attack, meeting the world's toughest security standards.

EXECUTIVE CLASS SEATING

The New Range Rover provides three distinct seating arrangements: four or fiveseat, in Standard or Long Wheelbase body designs, and a seven-seat Long Wheelbase option.

The luxury flagship's trademark Command Driving position and theatre-style seating ensure excellent all-round visibility throughout with an extra 20mm of room between the front and second row seats across the range. This contributes to a 44mm overall improvement in rowtwo knee room, with a lower heel position, for enhanced passenger comfort on longer journeys.

Luxurious Executive Class rear seats combine fourseat comfort with five-seat versatility. At the push of a button, the powered deployable centre console slides effortlessly into position as the centre rear seatback separates the two outer seats. It houses an eight-inch Rear Seat Touchscreen controller, which allows passengers to fine-tune the rear cabin environment. The heated and cooled rear memory seats provide four-way powered lumbar and headrest adjustment and can be inclined by four degrees and reclined by up to 12 degrees to achieve the perfect position.

Executive Class Comfort seats provide enhanced shoulder support with heated door armrests, a heated centre console and deeper seat cushions with Hot Stone Massage functionality, while Executive Class Comfort- Plus seats add a heated heel catcher and calf-rest for truly first-class travel.

SEVEN-SEAT LUXURY

Using the 75mm longer wheelbase of the new MLA-Flex architecture, the New Range Rover delivers generous seating space whichever model you choose, while the additional 200mm in the Long Wheelbase creates either supreme executive comfort or, for the first time, a full seven-seat option for Range Rover. The outcome is a packaging triumph that delivers a true Range Rover experience for every occupant, with no compromise to its elegant silhouette.

The clever design of the second-row seats creates a generous walk-through to the third-row seats. At the touch of a button, they glide forward and rise to allow easy entry and exit. The heated thirdrow seats fold into the boot floor electrically yet deliver an authentic Range Rover experience for occupants. Their comfortable 25-degree backrest is equivalent to a second-row seat in many competitors and, with 864mm of legroom, a full-sized adult can comfortably sit in the third row, behind a similarly sized passenger, even on long trips.

Stadium seating means the third-row seats are 41mm higher than the front seats, providing excellent visibility and ensuring occupants feel connected to the rest of the interior. Integral outboard armrests enhance the sense of luxury along with individual device charging ports, cup holders and oddment stowage and when the third-row seats are not in use, the second row can slide backwards to liberate an additional 50mm of legroom.

Customers can tailor the cabin atmosphere to suit their mood using configurable 30-colour cabin lighting in the doors, console footwells and instrumentation and, on sevenseat models, the third-row armrests. Illuminated seatbelt buckles make it easier to fasten seatbelts at night and showcase the attention to detail that is evident throughout the cabin.

PRACTICAL CABIN STOWAGE

There is a practical side to first-class travel. Land Rover's designers and engineers studied how customers use the space in their Range Rovers to provide smart stowage that preserves the clean lines of the elegant interior, while providing all the convenience and flexibility they need.

As a result, the centre console provides a combination of flexible open stowage spaces for quick access to everyday items, and a closed threelitre storage space under the centre armrest big enough for an iPad. This area is also available with a Front Centre Console Refrigerator Compartment, which is capable of rapidly chilling up to four 500ml drinks bottles or 330ml cans using temperatures reaching as low as five degrees Celsius.

INTELLIGENT LOADSPACE

The New Range Rover features the practical two-piece split tailgate arrangement that has been a hallmark of Land Rover's flagship SUV since its introduction in 1970. For 2021, a series of new technologies provide elevated versatility and convenience.

Five-seat models debut a new Auto-Folding Loadspace Cover which combines the practicality of a rigid loadspace cover with the convenience of retractable design. It automatically and elegantly retracts when the upper tailgate is opened to optimise access to the load area, without having to open the lower tailgate.

Inside, the new Versatile Loadspace Floor protects luggage and enhances convenience. Its clever floor panel hinges backwards, across the width of the load area at its mid-point, to contain smaller items and keep them within easy reach when unloading. The vertical partition also includes adjustable straps on its underside to securely stow those smaller items, such as bottles.

The partition has been engineered to withstand forces of up to 750Nm and has been subjected to 10,000 use cycles. It performs another function - when pivoted forwards, along its leading edge, the hinged floor section serves as a backrest when using the lower tailgate as outdoor seating.

The New Range Rover is a highly versatile and practical luxury vehicle. Even with seven seats in place, there is 312 litres of luggage space, allowing for a pair of cabin cases, a pushchair or golf bag to fit behind the third-row seats. Capacity rises to more than 1,000 litres in five-seat mode and, with the second row folded forwards, the New Range Rover LWB can accommodate 2,601 litres of luggage, including items measuring two metres long.

TAILGATE EVENT SUITE

The new Tailgate Event Suite takes the Versatile Loadspace Floor concept to new heights, combining additional lighting and speakers located in the upper tailgate to create the perfect place to take in the scenery, sports events or simply to relax outdoors. Activated via the Pivi Pro infotainment system, the Tailgate Event Suite opens the tailgate and focuses audio playback through the rearmost speakers, plus four dedicated tailgate speakers, while dimmable spotlights provide high-intensity task lighting for up to two hours of additional enjoyment when the sun goes down, or up to 88 hours on the Extended Range Plug-in Hybrid models.

The Tailgate Event Suite is also available with a pair of luxurious tailored leather cushion sets which stow neatly beneath the boot floor and provide enhanced comfort for two people on the lower tailgate and the Versatile Loadspace Floor backrest - there are even sculpted cup rests in the lower tailgate to prevent spillages.

Land Rover's latest Electrical Vehicle Architecture (EVA 2.0) is the enabler-in-chief and supports this 21st century connectivity. Software-Over-The-Air (SOTA) updates ensure the New Range Rover will improve as it matures, while Land Rover's fast and intuitive Pivi Pro infotainment is now available with seamless Amazon Alexa integration for the first time.

The scalable EVA 2.0 toolkit encompasses 69 individual ECUs capable of handling 22,880 network messages. This advanced digital backbone supports the latest Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and state-of-the-art powertrain technologies: from the mildhybrid Ingenium petrol and diesel engines to the new Extended-Range plug-in hybrids and, ultimately, Land Rover's first pure-electric powertrain.

Land Rover engineers measured human brain activity using Functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy (FNIrS) to understand more about the cognitive impact of driving, to create a truly effortless driving experience. By mastering human sciences they have been able to produce a vehicle with the most calm, tranquil and refined automotive interior to date.

INTUITIVE PIVI PRO INFOTAINMENT

The New Range Rover elevates Land Rover's awardwinning Pivi Pro infotainment technology with its largest ever touchscreen. The 13.1- inch curved, floating screen embodies the architectural lightness of the interior with its elegant design and provides intuitive control of all the major vehicle functions, using the latest consumer technology to deliver a smartphone-inspired interface.

For the first time in a Land Rover, the central display will provide haptic feedback when customers touch and press the screen. By giving users a positive confirmation without the need to glance at the screen, it reduces the need to look away from the road - enhancing safety and making Pivi Pro even more intuitive to use. Its customisable homescreen allows customers to access 90 per cent of tasks within two taps, while familiar pinch and swipe gestures help to navigate the simple menu structure.

With its own back-up battery providing immediate startup, customers can begin music playback and enter a destination as soon as they get behind the wheel. The advanced system also features a pair of embedded eSIMs, which ensure SOTA updates can be completed faster without disrupting bandwidth for other applications such as media streaming. Combined with Pivi Pro's back-up battery, the eSIMs also allow the system to start and connect more rapidly.

Land Rover's SOTA technology allows owners to download aand install updates for more than 70 individual electronic control modules - more than on any previous model - without having to visit a retailer. In this way, the New Range Rover will improve over time, with minimal inconvenience for customers.

INTERACTIVE DRIVER DISPLAY

Pivi Pro works in harmony with an elegant new semifloating 13.7-inch Interactive Driver Display, which features new high-definition graphics based around a three-panel layout that intuitively reflects the design of the Pivi Pro homescreen. Customers can choose from a variety of configurations, including a conventional analogue layout, using the steering wheel controls.

By allowing customers to customise the layout, the New Range Rover minimises potential distractions, assisted by the Head-Up Display, which positions information directly in the driver's eyeline. The projection itself appears 2.0m away from the driver, increased from 1.8m, and requires minimal 'look-down' from the driver, halving the time it takes the driver to read important information compared to the instrumentation.

AMAZON ALEXA

The New Range Rover revolutionises the in-car experience with seamlessly integrated Amazon Alexa. Using intuitive natural voice commands goes one step beyond touchscreen or button interfaces in helping reduce cognitive load, allowing customers to manage everything from favourite infotainment features and music track selection to navigation or phone contacts - all while keeping their hands on the wheel and their eyes on the road.

The voice AI is embedded within the New Range Rover so users experience next-level convenience. On the move, simply asking Alexa, "Where's the nearest coffee shop?" produces a visually mapped list of nearby options, all displayed through the Pivi Pro infotainment.

With a further verbal command, or touch, drivers can navigate to or call their chosen destination, delivering new levels of convenience and minimising distractions.

Alexa capabilities also allow customers to check the news, weather and for any scheduled meetings using simple voice commands. The system can even turn on your lights at home and connect to other Alexa-enabled devices.

Alexa works in addition to Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Wireless Android Auto™ and can be initiated either by saying "Alexa" or pressing the Alexa button on the central touchscreen. It does not need any phone or external device to operate - only details of a customer's Amazon account and an internet connection.

In association with Amazon, a custom connected vehicle skill for New Range Rover was developed, so that customers can remotely control certain functionality from home. Away from the vehicle, Alexa Skills are also available, including checking if their vehicle is locked, monitoring its fuel level, location or state of charge using any Alexaenabled device.

ONLINE PACK

Land Rover's Online Pack and Wi-Fi Hotspot with inclusive data plan ensures customers are always connected while media apps, including fully integrated Spotify, are linked and controlled via a featurerich interface on the Pivi Pro touchscreen.

The New Range Rover features embedded eSIM technology that provides 4G data for everything from the Connected Navigation and Wi-Fi Hotspot to Software Updates. With its embedded apps, the cloudbased system doesn't need a smartphone to provide Internet connectivity, so customers can stream their favourite music and download Software Updates even if they leave their phone behind.

The Online Pack with Data Plan includes Amazon Alexa with unlimited streaming from Spotify, Deezer and TuneIn, and weather forecasts. Customers in the UK can even pay for parking using the central touchscreen.

SEAMLESS SMARTPHONE INTEGRATION

Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Wireless Android Auto™ provide effortless access to smartphone apps without trailing wires around the cabin. Both come into their own when used in conjunction with the New Range Rover's powerful 15W Wireless Device Charging technology. The charging pad on the centre console is big enough to accommodate the largest smartphones and charges any Qi compatible device. An integrated signal booster ensures excellent call clarity, and the pad itself features an active cooling system to prevent devices from overheating.

Both smartphone connectivity options have been seamlessly integrated into the New Range Rover's advanced Pivi Pro infotainment. Customers are able to fully personalise the tiles of the homescreen, with the ability to include both Apple or Android apps and relevant features within the main infotainment, providing greater scope for homescreen customisation.

Connectivity extends to every occupant with a device charging socket for every seat, with up to eight USB-C sockets. For passengers travelling in the second row, integrated 60W USB-C connections can charge a laptop directly, without the need for a power pack, while the Wi-Fi Hotspot allows up to eight devices to connect simultaneously.

NEW REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT

The New Range Rover is available with a new Rear Seat Entertainment system, which provides adjustable 11.4-inch HD touchscreens mounted on the rear of the front seatbacks. HDMI ports can accept media dongles, providing access to media services just as you would at home - with the on-board Wi-Fi Hotspot providing a data connection, transforming the rear screens into smart TVs.

Land Rover's new In-Vehicle Controller app also allows customers to use their own smartphone as a secondary controller, providing operation of functions such as media selection in the second row.

DIGITAL LED HEADLIGHTS WITH IMAGE PROJECTION

Efficient and powerful all-LED lighting is provided throughout the New Range Rover, exemplified by new high-definition Digital LED Headlights which have a beam range of up to 500 metres. They create an exceptional design detail and feature Signature daytime running lamps (DRLs), Animated Directional Indicators, Adaptive Front Lighting and Image Projection technology, making them the most advanced headlights ever fitted to a Land Rover.

Adaptive Front Lighting uses Dynamic Light Projection technology to optimise the dipped beam and shape the beam pattern to suit the precise driving conditions such as vehicle speed, environment and traffic conditions. Inside each headlight, 1.2 million individually controllable Digital Micro-mirror Devices (DMDs) provide more control than ever before, enabling the HD-Adaptive Driving Beam to intelligently cast up to 16 shadows in the path of the vehicle which helps to prevent dazzling other road users. The advanced technology precisely shadows items ensuring maximum illumination is always provided.

The intelligent lights use eHorizon data from the navigation to 'see' the road ahead and identify bends, corners and junctions as they approach. They combine this with data from vehicle speed, yaw and steering sensors to select the appropriate setting - from Country, City, Highway or Adverse Weather modes - and tailor the beam pattern accordingly. The flagship headlights also provide a dynamic animated welcome and farewell sequence, whenever the ignition is switched on and off - projecting a high-definition pattern onto the ground and nearby surroundings using the DMDs for a unique sense of theatre at the beginning and end of night-time journeys.

The world-first hidden-untillit taillights feature here. They have been specially developed to meet Land Rover's modernist design philosophy and use vivid red LEDs in operation, yet form a distinctive Gloss Black graphic at the rear when not in use.

ALL SEEING EYES: LOW SPEED MANOEUVRING LIGHTS SUPPORT ADVANCED CAMERA TECHNOLOGY

Among the thoughtful innovations to debut on the New Range Rover are Land Rover's new Manoeuvring Lights, which help drivers complete low-speed manoeuvres in dimly lit surroundings with complete confidence.

Additional LED downlighters on each side of the vehicle project onto the ground which, in harmony with the reversing lights, provide a carpet of light to aid the driver. The new system is automatically engaged when reverse gear is selected - disengaging again at speeds above 10mph (15km/h) - and designed to work with the 3D Surround Camera to provide peerless visibility.

The 3D Surround Camera provides 360-degree plan, 3D exterior perspective or kerb views and junction views by cleverly stitching together images from the four surround cameras, helping drivers both off and on-road at speeds below 10mph (16km/h).

To maintain rearward visibility when carrying large loads or a full complement of seven occupants, the New Range Rover is available with ClearSight Interior Rear View technology. At the touch of a button, the frameless interior mirror switches from a conventional mirror to a digital screen showing a feed provided by a high-definition rear-facing camera mounted high at the back of the vehicle. The position of the camera makes the rear pillars and any objects inside the vehicle invisible, while providing a 50-degree horizontal view and 9.8 degrees vertical field of vision to eliminate blindspots. It provides superior clarity in low light conditions and has a hydrophobic coating to maintain performance in wet and muddy conditions.

Looking forwards, ClearSight Ground View transparent bonnet technology allows drivers to take full advantage of the New Range Rover's supreme all-terrain capability by visualising the area hidden by the bonnet on the central Pivi Pro touchscreen. Trajectory overlays help drivers clearly position the vehicle and the clever system is even able to make the vehicle 'disappear', providing a plan view of the area around and beneath the vehicle.

REMOTE PARK ASSIST

The New Range Rover looks after drivers like never before and Remote Park Assist brings new levels of convenience. It allows the luxury SUV to manoeuvre into and out of parking spaces while the driver monitors progress from outside the vehicle - perfect for entering or leaving narrow urban spaces or negotiating rural gateways.

Drivers activate the system using Pivi Pro and designate which of the available spaces to use - narrow spaces only accessible using Remote Park Assist are highlighted to the driver, who is then able to exit the vehicle to complete the manoeuvre, providing a continuous input via the Remote app. The system is designed to operate with the driver within a three-metre radius of the vehicle and the system can also drive out of perpendicular or parallel spaces, with the ultrasonic sensors and onboard cameras monitoring the surroundings for potential hazards at all times.

Remote Park Assist augments the latest generation of Park Assist, which can park the New Range Rover automatically in and out of perpendicular and parallel spaces. More intuitive than ever, the system uses 12 ultrasonic sensors and the four surround cameras to locate suitable spaces in the background, and at speeds up to 19mph (30km/h). Its findings are displayed on the central touchscreen for the driver to make their selection.

Rear Collision Monitor with Occupant Protection Assist builds on the existing suite of safety features, using the front and rear corner radars to detect collision risks within 70 metres of the vehicle and warn occupants, before preparing the vehicle to help mitigate any collision. If the sensors detect the threat of a collision within 1.4 seconds, the system initiates the hazard warning lights. If a collision is detected with 1.2 seconds, the vehicle primes for an impact by closing the windows, tensioning the seatbelts, moving the headrests and adjusting the incline of the seats.

The Driver Assist Pack includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist, Driver Condition Response, Blind Spot Assist and Rear Traffic Monitor as standard. Driver Condition Response can bring the New Range Rover to a halt if the driver fails to respond to a series of audio-visual prompts. The intelligent technology detects if the driver's hands are on the wheel and maintains lane position while bringing the vehicle to a stop.

ACTIVITY KEY 2.0

The flagship of the Land Rover family represents the pinnacle of refined capability thanks to advanced hardware and software systems working in harmony. This unrivalled breadth of dynamic capability is governed by Land Rover's Integrated Chassis Control System - its suite of advanced technologies tailor the vehicle to suit every mile of every journey using a network of sensors to pre-emptively and reactively fine-tune the driving characteristics.

FLEXIBLE MODULAR LONGITUDINAL ARCHITECTURE (MLA-FLEX)

New mixed-metal architecture uses the right material in the right places to create a safe and strong body that is up to 50 per cent stiffer than before, with a static torsional stiffness of 33kNm/deg. This generational improvement provides the perfect foundation for the advanced chassis systems to reach the optimum combination of ride quality and agility for the terrain.

The hardware is designed to accommodate the New Range Rover's 23-inch wheels - a first for Land Rover - and 815mm diameter wheel/tyre combinations - all while delivering suspension geometry to support customary Range Rover capability. The new flowformed alloy wheels have been carefully engineered to reduce weight and, as a result, the new larger alloys provide no increase in unsprung mass over the previous 22-inch designs, contributing to the supreme ride comfort and control provided by the suspension.

ALL-WHEEL STEERING

Every New Range Rover features All-Wheel Steering for heightened high-speed stability and effortless agility at low speeds. It ensures the New Range Rover is the most manoeuvrable ever, equally at home at high cruising speeds or negotiating tight urban streets.

The electrically operated rear axle steering provides up to 7.3 degrees of steering angle and, at low speeds, turns outof- phase of the front wheels for enhanced agility. This gives the New Range Rover a turning circle of less than 11m, which is the smallest of any Land Rover and the same as a small hatchback.

At speeds above 50km/h the rear axle turns in-phase with the front wheels, for exceptional stability and confidence. All-wheel steering also enhances all-terrain performance, assisting drivers when steering out of ruts, or maintaining a straight path on softer surfaces.

DYNAMIC RESPONSE PRO

The New Range Rover is the first Land Rover to feature Dynamic Response Pro - an advanced 48-volt electronic active roll control system that is faster-acting and more efficient than hydraulic systems and has an industry-leading torque capacity of 1,400Nm - with 900Nm available within 200 milliseconds.

This advanced technology manages body roll from lateral acceleration by continually optimising the damping forces on the front and rear anti-roll bars and has been engineered by Land Rover to work in harmony with other chassis systems. In Dynamic mode, body roll is further reduced for sharper responses and enhanced agility while the anti-roll bars can de-couple in off-road scenarios to maximise wheel travel and improve ride comfort. The system's actuators even help the wheels to follow the terrain, improving traction on undulating surfaces.

As well as supporting capability and comfort, the electrified system also contributes to overall efficiency and provides a CO2 saving of up to 8g/km compared to previous hydraulic systems. In this way, Dynamic Response Pro is a crucial element in delivering the New Range Rover's efficiency, composure and all-conquering capability.

INTELLIGENT ELECTRONIC AIR SUSPENSION WITH ADAPTIVE DYNAMICS AND TWIN VALVE DAMPING

Fully-independent air suspension isolates the cabin from surface imperfections more effectively than ever before and combines industryleading air spring volumes with twin-valve monotube dampers - all managed by in-housedeveloped next generation Adaptive Dynamics control software - for serene composure at all times.

The intelligent pre-emptive Electronic Air Suspension uses eHorizon Navigation data and a network of vehicle sensors to read its surroundings and prime the New Range Rover for any eventuality:

  • COLLISION PREVENTION - To enhance safety, the suspension automatically switches to Dynamic mode when the Forward Collision Warning system detects a collision risk, assisting the driver if evasive manoeuvres are required by delivering the most agile responses.
  • CORNERING CONTROL - eHorizon and vehicle speed data is used to determine when the New Range Rover is approaching a corner and to prepare the suspension for cornering forces, reducing body roll and enhancing the driving experience.
  • ENHANCED EFFICIENCY - Speed lowering makes use of eHorizon data for the first time, so the vehicle is able to detect dual carriageway driving more quickly and engage speed lowering sooner than before, to maximise the fuel efficiency benefit.
  • CRUISING COMPOSURE - For supreme comfort, the system is also linked to the Adaptive Cruise Control, so the suspension is primed to cope with any pitching motions caused by changes to the vehicle speed.

The air suspension also provides variable ride height with four stages of elevation. Automatic Access Height allows customers to elegantly enter and exit the vehicle by lowering the vehicle by 50mm while Active Speed Lowering drops the body height by 16mm when cruising at above 65mph (105km/h) for enhanced efficiency. In off-road situations, the body can be raised by 75mm and again by an additional 60mm to provide superior ground clearance.

Adaptive Dynamics is the second generation of Land Rover's intelligent suspension control system and monitors a range of data to calculate the optimum damper settings. It senses the road 500 times per second and can adjust individual dampers to enhance control and comfort.

New faster-acting twin-valve Bilstein active dampers are the enabler here. They can react within 12 milliseconds and provide a 63 per cent greater bandwidth of operation than before. Two continuously variable valves inside each damper adjust the damping force; one for the initial upwards movement, the other to control the forces generated during the downward rebound phase.

Each Terrain Response 2 setting has its own bespoke calibration to ensure the New Range Rover maintains its peerless composure in all situations and, just like Dynamic Response Pro, the advanced dampers are efficient as they do not draw any current in the most frequently used Comfort mode.

INTELLIGENT ALL-WHEEL DRIVE WITH INTELLIGENT DRIVELINE DYNAMICS

The intelligent All-Wheel Drive (iAWD) transmission is controlled by Land Rover's Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) system, which monitors grip levels and driver inputs 100 times per second to predictively distribute torque between the front and rear axles, and across the rear axle, for optimum traction on and off-road.

All-wheel drive is always connected when driving offroad, pulling away from a standstill, in cold weather (below three degrees Celsius) and at speeds above 100mph (160km/h), and all New Range Rovers feature a smooth shifting eight-speed automatic gearbox with twin-speed transmission for supreme low-speed control in off-road situations.

The intelligent system optimises efficiency by disconnecting drive to the front axle at speeds above 21mph (35km/h) and up to 100mph (160km/h), which reduces drag losses by 30 per cent and contributes to a reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 4g/km.

The torque-on-demand technology improves handling dynamics and reduces both weight and drag losses compared to a traditional AWD system, yet provides four-wheel drive whenever needed. The system constantly monitors vehicle data to act preemptively, so traction is always maintained and New Range Rover has the added ability to distribute torque to the front or rear axles for instinctive driving dynamics and confidenceinspiring capability at all times.

ELECTRONIC ACTIVE DIFFERENTIAL WITH TORQUE VECTORING BY BRAKING

The New Range Rover features an Active Locking Rear Differential as standard to optimise traction from the rear axle during highspeed cornering, on slippery surfaces and during off-road wheel articulation. It provides enhanced capability and driver confidence and is controlled by the IDD system. Together, the IDD system along with Torque Vectoring by Braking deliver the maximum available torque to the rear wheel with the greatest traction.

Torque Vectoring by Braking (TVBB) enhances agility, grip and cornering stability by constantly monitoring the balance and distribution of torque. The system controls understeer and oversteer by applying controlled braking to the inner or outer rear wheel, with the Electronic Active Differential also capable of locking the rear axle and creating a 50/50 split of torque across each rear wheel.

The Active Locking Rear Differential also enables heightened off-road capabilities. With the Electronic Active Differential acting as an open differential, it works with the Torque Vectoring by Braking system by braking the wheel that has the least grip or is spinning, and automatically transferring torque to the wheel with most grip to enable continuous progress.

TERRAIN RESPONSE 2 WITH CONFIGURABLE TERRAIN RESPONSE

Land Rover's latest Terrain Response technology optimises all-terrain capability by harnessing all of the vehicle chassis systems - from the iAWD, Dynamic Response Pro and All-Wheel Steering to the Electronic Air Suspension, brakes and electric power steering - to provide the perfect vehicle settings for the surroundings.

Terrain Response 2 was first introduced on Defender and includes Comfort (general driving), Dynamic, Eco, Grass/ Gravel/Snow, Mud & Ruts, Sand, Rock Crawl and Wade modes, while Auto mode detects, selects and deploys the most appropriate setting for the terrain at any given time.

Configurable Terrain Response allows the driver to tailor a bespoke combination of settings to suit their precise requirements. The differentials, throttle, traction control and ride height are all configurable and up to four custom profiles can be stored.

Wade Mode locks the driveline, sets ride height to its maximum and closes all cabin vents, to allow the New Range Rover to ford up to 900mm of water. It also activates the Wade Sensing screen on the Pivi Pro system, allowing drivers to see the depth of surrounding water to provide ultimate confidence when fording deep water. Terrain Response even applies the brakes to 'wipe' the discs when a different Terrain Response mode is selected - ensuring full braking performance is available from the first application.

Land Rover's All-Terrain Progress Control also supports drivers in extreme off-road situations, removing the stress of maintaining a low crawl speed, while Hill Descent Control ensures composure and control are maintained when driving down steep inclines.

TOWING TECHNOLOGY

The New Range Rover is available with technology that takes the stress out of hitching and towing a trailer. Advanced Tow Assist helps drivers complete difficult reversing manoeuvres by allowing them to steer trailers with their fingertips, using a rotary controller on the central console and trajectory lines projected on to the Pivi Pro touchscreen from the rear camera feed.

In addition, Advanced Tow Assist, Hitch Assist and Trailer Stability Control combine to provide convenience and confidence for customers, while the Electronically Deployable Towbar preserves the elegant lines of the New Range Rover when not in use by raising into position at the touch of a button.

NEXT GENERATION BRAKING PERFORMANCE

The New Range Rover features brake-by-wire technology which provides quicker and quieter responses than conventional systems, improving safety and enhancing the driving experience. An actuatorcontrolled piston operated by the foot pedal applies braking effort, delivering finer braking control.

The system comes into its own during low-speed off-road manoeuvres. When the Traction Control and Autonomous Emergency Braking systems are triggered, it can lock a wheel within 150 milliseconds - versus 300 milliseconds with a conventional set-up. In everyday use, Hill Launch Assist with Enhanced Hill Hold prevents the New Range Rover from rolling back on steep inclines - with a smoother transition from the brakes to power in all environments.

Land Rover's new luxury SUV is the first vehicle in the world to combine this next generation braking technology with Active Brake Cooling. The active brake cooling ducts optimise aerodynamics by only opening when additional brake cooling is required - improving aerodynamic performance by six per cent - while lightweight brake discs contribute to both improved lifecycle emissions (up to 80kg reduction in CO2 equivalent across the lifetime of the vehicle) and driving dynamics by minimising unsprung mass.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The New Range Rover is the first Land Rover to have undergone virtual simulator testing to perform initial prototype testing. Over the last three years, Land Rover engineers have matched Formula 1 levels of simulator use and virtual development and have even mapped local roads around the Gaydon headquarters as part of this process. They have invested more than 140,000 hours of computational analysis prior to physical testing, reducing the number of real-world development miles required by the fleet of physical prototypes.

ELECTRIFIED, SUSTAINABLE LUXURY AND TRADEMARK PERFORMANCE

Effortless performance and peerless refinement across any terrain and in all conditions have been cornerstones of the Range Rover driving experience for over five decades. The New Range Rover maintains this compelling combination with a comprehensive line-up of advanced powertrains that bring new levels of efficiency and capability to Land Rover's flagship SUV.

Electrification delivers the ultimate impression of refinement and luxury by providing hushed, instantly available power. Spearheading Land Rover's Reimagine strategy, a pure-electric Range Rover will join the family in 2024, providing permanent zero-emissions driving for the first time.

The New Range Rover provides electrified performance, with new Extended-Range plugin hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) powertrains and the latest mild-hybrid (MHEV) technology, while a new petrol flagship - the P530 twin turbo V8 - delivers trademark refinement and performance.

EXTENDED-RANGE SIX-CYLINDER PLUG-IN HYBRID POWER

The new Extended-Range PHEV powertrains combine the inherent refinement of Land Rover's in-line 3.0-litre six-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine with a 38.2kWh lithium-ion battery - with 31.8kWh usable battery capacity - and a 105kW electric motor integrated with the transmission. This combination provides a WLTP electric vehicle (EV) range (for comparison purposes) of up to 113km (70 miles), delivering an expected real-world range up to 88km (54 miles) and overall CO2 emissions as low as 18g/km.

Together, the straight-six Ingenium engine and electric motor combine with New Range Rover's hallmark qualities to bring new levels of refinement to the luxury SUV, providing a compelling balance of performance, refinement and assured driving dynamics. In this way the New Range Rover can be operated as a fully electric vehicle when customers want, and as a conventional ICE when they need.

The powerful P510e combines a 400PS (294kW) Ingenium engine with the 105kW electric motor for a combined maximum power output of 510PS and 700Nm of torque, and accelerates from 0-60mph in 5.2 seconds (0-100km/h in 5.6s). Efficiency is outstanding, providing CO2 emissions as low as 18g/km.

In EV mode, the state-of-theart plug-in hybrids can drive at speeds of up to 140mph (225km/h). This combination of range and performance will allow customers to enjoy Land Rover's flagship as an EV-only model for most journeys in town and country - according to Range Rover UK customer data, customers will be able to complete 75 per cent of their daily journeys in EV mode, without needing to charge away from home.

New Range Rover is one of the few PHEVs to offer 50kW DC rapid charging capability. It can charge up to 80 per cent in under an hour, making it one of the fastest charging plug-in hybrids. For added convenience, charging the battery at home using a domestic 7.2kW AC wall box supply will allow customers to achieve a full charge in five hours. Brake Energy Regeneration also harvests energy that would be lost when the driver lifts off the accelerator or brakes, with the motor acting as a generator to replenish the battery.

Customers can choose how to use the energy by selecting one of three driving modes:

  • HYBRID MODE - the default driving mode uses Predictive Energy Optimisation to seamlessly optimise efficiency for every journey. Geo-fencing technology uses navigation and location data through eHorizon to automatically preserve and prioritise EV mode - for example where routes include roads within a low-emissions zone - while the system will intelligently preserve enough battery capacity to prioritise EV mode for the last 6km of journeys in urban areas, ensuring a smooth arrival.
  • EV MODE - uses purely electric power for silent zero tailpipe emission driving.
  • SAVE MODE - preserves the battery charge level to be deployed at a later point in the journey. Customers can choose the precise state of charge they wish to retain using the Pivi Pro touchscreen.

The Extended-Range PHEVs operate as battery-electric vehicles for most trips but can call upon the six-cylinder Ingenium petrol whenever longer trips are required, increasing the expected real world combined range to around 400 miles. The choice of Land Rover's sixcylinder Ingenium engine also optimises refinement and performance when operating as an ICE vehicle.

Land Rover's new MLA-Flex body architecture is designed to accommodate ICE, PHEV and BEV powertrains. The battery for the PHEV is located under the cabin floor, within the wheelbase of the vehicle, for improved driving dynamics and uncompromised luggage space. The PHEVs are even able to accommodate a fullsized spare wheel, if desired. The battery's location maintains a low centre of gravity so Range Rover's trademark ride comfort, refinement and capability - honed over 50 years - have been taken to a new level with the promise of hushed all-electric driving.

The battery casing has been engineered using high-strength Boron steel to withstand extreme 4x4 conditions, with the result that New Range Rover has the stiffest and strongest body structure of any Land Rover. The battery shield is even able to support the weight of the vehicle balanced on a single axle.

The new P510e will be available on Standard Wheelbase models only and provides a towing capacity of up to 2,500kg.

CONNECTED CONVENIENCE

The New Range Rover is always online and always connected, so owners can keep track of the charging status of the vehicle using Land Rover's Remote app. Customers are also able to use the supplementary heater and air conditioning system fitted to PHEV models to precondition the cabin more effectively than ever.

The remote Cabin Pre- Conditioning function can be activated while charging - without affecting the battery level - or by using the residual power within the battery. This ensures customers in cold or hot climates are greeted by a perfectly defrosted or air-conditioned cabin before every trip. Timed Charging allows customers to schedule battery top-ups when the vehicle is connected to a suitable charging device in one of three ways:

  • IMMEDIATE CHARGING - begins battery charging straight away
  • LOW-COST HOURS ONLY - allows customers to conveniently plug in when they arrive at a destination but only charge when energy costs are at their lowest - for example during low-tariff periods at night

The PHEVs are supplied with a Mode 3 charging cable suitable for AC charging at both domestic wall boxes and public charging points, with the charging port located on the rear side panel on the lefthand side of the vehicle.

NEW FLAGSHIP V8 PETROL ENGINE

The New Range Rover is the first Land Rover to be powered by a new 530PS 4.4-litre V8 engine, which deploys two parallel twinscroll turbos - one for each cylinder bank - to minimise turbo lag and optimise efficiency. The new engine produces 750Nm of torque and powers the New Range Rover from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.6s) with Dynamic Launch engaged, and to a top speed of 155mph (250km/h).

The new V8 has been calibrated to suit the requirements of the world's most luxurious and capable SUV and features a specially designed sump to ensure the New Range Rover can cope with 45 degrees of articulation in extreme off-road driving. A bespoke air intake design delivers a maximum wading depth of 900mm and strengthening ribs ensure the new V8 passes Land Rover's demanding kerb strike durability tests. A powerful starter motor and heated sump ensure the new engine meets Land Rover's cold-start requirements.

Twin-scroll turbos feature ceramic bearings, which contribute to immediate responses, while a water-cooler reduces intake air temperature more effectively than a standard air-based intercooler, improving both efficiency and peak power. Valvetronic variable intake lift delivers precise control over the combustion process throughout the rev range, and traditional steel cylinder liners are replaced by spray bore technology, which reduces weight and friction and enhances thermal efficiency.

SMOOTH AND POWERFUL INGENIUM PETROLS

A pair of smooth straightsix Ingenium petrol engines combine refinement, performance and efficiency, using the innovative technologies common across the Ingenium family. The advanced engines feature MHEV technology, a conventional twin-scroll turbocharger and an advanced 48-volt electric supercharger, with a Belt-integrated Starter Generator in place of the alternator to assist the engine, and a 48-volt lithiumion battery to store energy captured as the vehicle slows down.

The P360 develops 500Nm of torque and powers the New Range Rover from 0-60mph in 6.0 seconds (0-100km/h in 6.3s) while the more powerful P400 achieves 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds (0-100km/h in 5.8s) with fuel consumption of up to 29.7mpg (9.5l/100km) and CO2 emissions as low as 215g/km.

ADVANCED & EFFICIENT DIESELS

Diesel power comes from a choice of powerful and efficient in-line six-cylinder D250, D300 or D350 Ingenium engines. The D250 delivers 600Nm of torque and powers New Range Rover from 0-60mph in 7.8 seconds (0-100km/h in 8.3s), with fuel consumption of up to 37.2mpg (7.6l/100km). The more powerful D300 produces 300PS and 650Nm, contributing to 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds (0-100km/h in 6.9s).

The most powerful diesel, the D350, produces 700Nm of torque and powers New Range Rover from 0-60mph in 5.8 seconds (0-100km/h in 6.1s), with fuel economy of up to 37.2mpg (7.6l/100km) and CO2 emissions from as low as 198g/km.

All six-cylinder diesels feature state-of-the-art 48-volt MHEV technology to harvest energy lost under deceleration and braking to boost fuel efficiency. A Belt-integrated Starter Generator ensures more responsive and refined operation of the stop-start system and provides extra assistance to the engine when accelerating. Together, this provides up to a five per cent uplift in efficiency compared to conventional stop-start systems.

In combination with the MHEV system, the new six-cylinder diesels also feature lightweight aluminium construction and a pair of close-coupled series sequentially arranged turbos. This maximises the heat delivered to the catalyst and reduces the time it takes to warm up, optimising efficiency. State-of-the-art low-friction steel pistons and 2,500bar piezo injection also contribute to improved efficiency, while variable nozzle turbo technology ensures 90 per cent of peak torque is delivered in just over a second at 2,000rpm.

TRANSMISSIONS

All powertrains are driven through a smooth and responsive eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox and twinspeed transmission, which provide a set of low-range ratios essential for towing or off-road driving when more control is required.

The SV roundel represents the distillation of Special Vehicle Operations' design and engineering passion for modern luxury, performance and capability. The SV roundel will identify all new Land Rover vehicles launched by Special Vehicle Operations in the future.

The New Range Rover SV flagship, previously envisioned through the SVAutobiography family, features exclusive design details and material choices throughout, with greater scope for personalisation and customer choice than ever before . It's estimated New Range Rover SV can be configured in more than 1.6 million different ways.

Both Standard and Long Wheelbase body designs - including a five-seat LWB configuration for the first time - can be specified with curated SV Serenity and SV Intrepid design themes inside or out, which introduce twotone front-to-rear contrasting colourways to Range Rover. Exclusive materials include lustrous plated metals, smooth ceramics, intricate mosaic marquetry and soft near-aniline leather, as well as sustainable non-leather Ultrafabrics™. The sumptuous new SV Signature Suite option on Long Wheelbase models epitomises the heightened luxury and craftsmanship from Special Vehicle Operations, providing ultimate comfort for two rearseat passengers. Its cosseting seats with Range Rover SVspecific contours feature 24-way adjustment with massage functionality while an elegant electrically deployable Club Table rises theatrically from the fixed full-length centre console on beautifully engineered supports to provide a convenient workspace when required.

Powerful and efficient Range Rover SV engine choices include the refined new 530PS V8 Twin Turbo, 510PS Extended-Range plug-in hybrid and the efficient D350 straight-six Ingenium diesel.

EXCLUSIVE DESIGN

New Range Rover SV is distinguished by carefully crafted enhancements that showcase and complement New Range Rover's modernist design.

Exclusive front bumper and five-bar grille designs set the new flagship model apart, with the lower aperture featuring five precisely executed full-width metalplated blades. This finish also features on the lower tailgate, rear wing ingot and bodyside graphic, complete with a laser-etched SV logo.

Unique identifiers for the Range Rover SV include a black background for the Land Rover oval on the grille and a white ceramic SV roundel on the tailgate.

The use of exquisite materials is a key differentiator for Range Rover SV and ceramic has been chosen to symbolise its expression of modern luxury.

The SV roundel is produced using the same techniques applied to luxury watch faces - the first time such methods have been used on a vehicle exterior. The signature roundel combines over-moulded black lettering on a smooth white background.

The raw material is injection moulded to shape, then sintered at 1,500 degrees Celsius. A precision grinder creates a perfectly even surface before the components are either diamond polished or sand-blasted to achieve the desired gloss or satin finish. The whole process takes around ten weeks, including final quality inspection by hand.

Range Rover SV customers can choose from a selection of the standard Range Rover colour palette or one of 14 additional colours in the SV Bespoke Premium Palette, which include a range of vibrant Gloss and sophisticated Satin finishes.

For the ultimate in exterior tailoring, the SV Bespoke Match to Sample service is able to replicate any colour a customer requests.

EXQUISITE INTERIOR

Special Vehicle Operations has taken a no-compromise approach to material choices in the interior too. The smooth, tactile ceramic used on the exterior badging is repeated here, giving the gear shifter, Terrain Response and volume controls an elegant cool-to-thetouch feel.

The smooth white ceramic on Range Rover SV contrasts with deep-pile mohair carpets and soft semi-aniline or near-aniline leather options for the uniquely shaped and embroidered seats.

For the first time, Special Vehicle Operations customers can specify a Range Rover with a leather alternative by choosing the sustainable UltrafabricsTM material option with the SV Intrepid interior. With a soft haptic and technical aesthetic, the Ultrafabrics material is applied in a unique duotone colourway. This is complemented by Kvadrat Remix textile on the seat backs and headrests to create the most progressive materiality choice to date.

Special Vehicle Operations' craftsmanship extends to the interior veneers, including optional mosaic marquetry. Made from FSC-certified wenge, the meticulously arranged wood veneer features hundreds of hand-laid lasercut pieces, the smallest of which measures just 6mm by 8mm. Ceramic coated finishers with an embossed mosaic pattern, and anodised metalfinishers, are also available. These touchpoints showcase the attention to detail that is a hallmark of the whole car. Even the digital instrumentation in the Configurable Driver Display features unique SV graphics.

All Range Rover SV models are available with 13.1-inch Rear Seat Entertainment screens. Exclusive to the SV model, these are the largest ever fitted to a Range Rover and the optimum size for comfort - with high-fidelity headphones that are also designed specifically for Range Rover SV. Increasing the speaker driver diameters by 3mm and a 2.5g increase in driver mass gives smoother responses for both THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) and operation in higher frequency ranges, as well as Range RoverSV-specific equalizer tuning. The combination of advanced technologies, exquisite luxury and commanding Range Rover visibility create a tranquil sanctuary like no other.

DISTINCTIVE THEMES

As standard, Range Rover SV features a body-coloured roof, monotone interior colourways and White Gloss ceramic interior touchpoints. Exclusive metal-plated Atlas Silver detailing features on the two-piece upper grille, front bumper accents, rear fender ingots and lower tailgate finisher, while the door gills feature an Atlas Silver finish with Anthracite inserts. This attention to detail extends to the Range Rover lettering, which has two-tone Graphite Atlas inserts and Silver satin surrounds.

Beyond this, customers can choose from two design themes that each give New Range Rover a distinct personality - SV Serenity and SV Intrepid - and they can further refine and tailor each theme, inside and out, to create a more personalised vehicle.

SV SERENITY

The pure luxury SV Serenity exterior design theme showcases the elegance of New Range Rover SV with a metal-plated Atlas Silver finish for the grille and a Corinthian Bronze surround. Corinthian Bronze also features on the lower bumper accent, the inserts of the trademark Range Rover side graphic, rear wing ingots and lower tailgate finisher, while the Range Rover lettering combines two-tone Corinthian Bronze inserts with a Silver Satin surround. Customers can also choose a Corinthian Bronze contrast roof, while the optional forged 23-inch Diamond Turned Dark Grey Gloss directional alloy wheels are available with Corinthian Bronze Satin inserts.

The SV Serenity interior with mosaic-pattern embroidery provides a contrasting duotone colourway design, which gives the front and rear cabins unique identities. Customers can match light-coloured semianiline Perlino rear seats with rich tones of Liberty Blue, Sequoia Green or Caraway near-aniline leather in the front.

SV INTREPID

The SV Intrepid exterior design theme reflects a more purposeful and dynamic character, with dark metal-plated finishes providing a stealthy appearance. The grille has an exclusive Anthracite finish and Graphite Atlas surround while the front bumper upper accents feature an Anthracite finish with lower accents in Graphite Atlas. The door gills feature Anthracite inserts and Graphite Atlas surrounds while the rear wing ingots and lower tailgate finisher provide Graphite Atlas and Anthracite finishes respectively. Customers can also choose a Narvik Black Contrast Roof and opt for contrasting red brake calipers too. The forged 23-inch Dark Grey Satin directional alloy wheels are also available with Narvik Black Gloss inserts to complete the look.

For the SV Intrepid interior, monotone semi-aniline Ebony leather or the distinctive duotone colourways of nearaniline Rosewood front and semi-aniline Ebony rear leather seats are available, as is a Light Cloud with Cinder Grey nonleather UltrafabricsTM option. A rectangular perforation pattern further differentiates it from SV and SV Serenity interiors. To harmonise with the stealthy character of the exterior, the ceramic elements on vehicles with the SV Intrepid design theme are finished in sophisticated Black Satin.

SV Serenity and SV Intrepid themes can be specified for the exterior, interior, or both areas, alongside the standard Range Rover SV exterior or interior, giving seven different design theme combinations for customers to choose from.

SV SIGNATURE SUITE

Both Standard and Long Wheelbase derivatives of Range Rover SV feature luxurious Executive Class Comfort Plus seating suitable for two or three in the rear, while the new SV Signature Suite option represents the pinnacle SV interior with an exclusive four-seat configuration that combines extraordinary levels of comfort with effortless convenience on LWB models.

The luxurious design is centred around an elegant front-to-rear console that runs the length of the cabin and accommodates an electrically powered Club Table, which rises silently into place in a single choreographed movement. Its sculptural support is machined from a billet of aluminium and is an exquisite piece of technical engineering.

In the raised position, the Club Table can be turned to serve either of the two rear passengers. Its large surface, which is extended by folding leaves with beautifully damped hinges, is more modern, elegant and practical than tables fitted to the front seatbacks. It has been subjected to more than 11,000 use-cycles by Special Vehicle Operations engineers.

Electrically deployable cup holders feature a cam-driven elevator system for a flushfitting appearance and are designed to work in harmony with SV-designed Dartington Crystal glasses hidden in the integrated refrigerator between the rear seatbacks.

The design of the crystal flute glassware for Range Rover SV is unique. The elegant long vessel is formed inside a tall cylindrical wall and provides the authentic champagne shape in a contemporary format, with brilliant clarity. This combination of form, plus a clever recessed foot detail, requires specially engineered glass-making tools to achieve precise quality standards which are beyond the tolerances of regular glassware production.

The attention to detail extends to the powered refrigerator door, which is controlled using the eight-inch Rear Seat Touchscreen Controller. It reveals a compartment big enough to accommodate a champagne bottle and is capable of chilling its contents faster than ever before. The centre console also has a hidden area providing secure stowage for valuables, while wireless device charging, USB connectivity and a choice of 12v and domestic power sockets are conveniently located under the rear centre armrest. In this way the SV Signature Suite provides the best of all worlds and a peerless travelling environment whether passengers are working or relaxing.
