Over the past two years, the brand has diligently executed its vision, starting with the introduction of the Bigster Concept, signaling Dacia’s foray into the C-segment. This was followed by the unveiling of a new visual identity in 2022, accompanied by the introduction of clear guiding values.

With a renewed sense of purpose guided by three core values – “essential and cool,” “robust and outdoor,” and “eco-smart: affordable and ecological” – Dacia embarks on an exciting new chapter, firmly rooted in its authentic identity.

A WIDE RANGE OF OPTIONS WITH DACIA EXTREME

Dacia’s Extreme trim is now available across four flagship models: the Spring, Sandero Stepway, Duster, and Jogger. With compatibility across all engine types except the Spring Extreme, which exclusively features the brand-new ELECTRIC 65 motor, Dacia presents a diverse array of choices to cater to various preferences and requirements.

Positioned at the pinnacle of the Dacia lineup, the Extreme trim is placed above the current Essential and Expression finishes for the Sandero Stepway and Jogger. In the case of the Duster, the Extreme trim follows the Essential, Expression, and Journey trims, offering an exquisite blend of style and performance. As for the Spring, the Extreme trim stands atop the Spring Essential ELECTRIC 45, emphasizing its prominence in the model range.

AESTHETICS THAT REFLECT THE SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE

The Extreme trim enhances the allure of all four models with unique design elements that subtly evoke the spirit of outdoor exploration. The design team, comprised of passionate adventurers themselves, aimed to create distinctive features that seamlessly integrated across the entire lineup, reinforcing Dacia’s commitment to outdoor enthusiasts.

THE DAZZLING CONTINUATION OF THE SPRING SAGA: INTRODUCING THE EXTREME TRIM

Since its launch in 2021, the Dacia Spring has captivated the hearts of car buyers, democratizing electric vehicle ownership throughout Europe. Garnering over 110,000 orders to date, the Spring has become Europe’s third best-selling electric car for individual buyers. Furthermore, its remarkable fuel efficiency earned it a coveted 5-star rating from the independent European body Green NCAP in 2022.

Not only has the Dacia Spring made electric mobility accessible to countless individuals, but it has also exceeded customer expectations. Usage data collected through connected services reveals that the average Spring user travels approximately 31km at an average speed of 26 km/h. Notably, 75% of Spring owners charge their vehicles at home, with 66% utilizing a domestic socket.

In a bid to conquer new frontiers, Dacia has introduced the Extreme trim to its fully electric Spring lineup, underscoring its significance to the brand. With the introduction of the exclusive all-new ELECTRIC 65 engine, the Spring Extreme boasts enhanced performance, pleasure, and versatility. Generating more power at 65 hp/48 kW compared to the Spring ELECTRIC 45’s 45 hp/33 kW, the Extreme trim offers higher wheel torque, resulting in dynamic acceleration both in city driving and when merging onto highways. The new ELECTRIC 65 engine stands out with its increased RPM, reaching 14,700 compared to the ELECTRIC 45’s 8,500 RPM, translating into enhanced power output. Additionally, the redesigned reducer features an increased ratio from 7,162 to 12,057, resulting in higher torque transmitted to the drive wheels.

Accelerating from 0 to 50 km/h in a mere 3.9 seconds on city roads, the Spring Extreme ELECTRIC 65 outperforms its ELECTRIC 45 counterpart by 1.9 seconds. On the open road, the Spring Extreme showcases improved recovery time, reducing the 80 to 120 km/h acceleration duration to just 13.5 seconds compared to 26 seconds. With an impressive range of 220 km in WLTP combined cycle and 305 km in WLTP City cycle, the Spring Extreme ELECTRIC 65 offers exceptional versatility.

The Dacia Spring Extreme ELECTRIC 65 is attractively priced at just €22,300 (excluding environmental bonus), while the Dacia Spring Essential ELECTRIC 45 remains an excellent value at €20,800 (excluding environmental bonus).
