Aygo X is a segment A car with unique features and distinctive design, designed and produced in Europe to best cover the role of gateway to the Toyota world, while not giving up on high levels of innovation, technology, style and safety.

Aygo X was born on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) GA-B platform, first introduced with the new Yaris – car of the year 2021 in Europe – and more recently with the Yaris Cross.

The use of the GA-B platform returns obvious benefits in terms of comfort, handling and safety, leaving no doubt about the car’s DNA: Aygo X is a 100% Toyota product, developed for Europe to best meet the needs of customers from the Old Continent.

The Range

The new Aygo X is available in 4 trim levels.

The entry version is the Active , already equipped with standard equipment of its higher categories such as 17 “wheels, Toyota Touch 3 multimedia system with 7” screen, rear view camera and Smartphone Integration (Apple CarPlay / Android Auto), Start & Stop, manual air conditioning and the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 safety system package .

The latter includes the pre-collision system with automatic emergency braking and cyclist (daytime) and pedestrian (day / night) detection, intelligent adaptive cruise control, Lane Trace Assist and emergency steering assistance.

The heart of the range will be represented by the Trend version , which compared to the Active adds 17 “alloy wheels, metallic paint with bi-tone finish body, Toyota Touch 3 multimedia system with 8” screen, automatic climate control, tinted rear windows and interior finishes in body color.

At the top of the range we find the Lounge version, the most complete set-up in terms of equipment, and which compared to the already equipped Trend adds 18 “black machined alloy wheels, Full LED headlights, Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system with 9 screen. ”, Cloud-based navigation and connected services, wireless charger for smartphones, Smart Entry with Push Start, parking sensors and seats with leather inserts.

An exclusive launch version, the Limited , will also be available for the first months of marketing, featuring unique design details.

Available only in Cardamom Green color, the Limited is embellished with exterior and interior details in Mandarina Orange. Specifically, we find matt black 18 ”alloy wheels with a unique signature and heated front seats in leather and fabric with Mandarina Orange texture. The set-up is completed by an exclusive “Aygo X LIMITED” badge on the rear.

The Trend, Lounge and Limited trim levels are also available in the AIR version with electrically opening canvas roof. All versions are also available with the new S-CVT automatic transmission.

The introductory offer

For the new Aygo X, the launch offer will start from € 13,500 for the Active version, thanks to a € 3,000 customer benefit (in the case of a car being exchanged or scrapped).

The Trend version will instead be offered at € 15,000, while Lounge and Limited respectively at € 16,500 and € 17,500, again thanks to a customer benefit of € 3,000 in the event of exchange or scrapping.

The surcharge for the AIR versions is € 1,000, while the S-CVT automatic transmission, against a price list of € 1,200, will be offered at € 1,000 in the launch phase.

Only in the case of financing, the customer benefit reaches up to € 3,500 on all versions.

The purchase formulas

New Aygo X was born to be within everyone’s reach. Consequently, the purchase formulas available at launch have been studied by Toyota with accessibility and flexibility in mind first and foremost.

The TOYOTA EASY program provides for the availability of 3 options at the end of the contract (pay, return or replace) and the ability to completely customize the payment plan at any time, leaving the customer the decision to modify a single installment, reset it, extend or reduce the duration of the plan.

The security offered by a certain repurchase value during the entire duration of the plan, possible thanks to the monthly value, is combined with the possibility of updating the repurchase agreement based on the kilometers actually traveled, a unique element on the market.

The TOYOTA EASY entry offer for the Active version is based on an advance of € 2,500 and installments starting from € 119, for a 48-month plan and 10,000km per year.

The plan for the volume version Trend instead provides an advance of € 2,450 and installments starting from € 139.

There is also the KINTO ONE rental offer with a monthly fee starting from € 219 for the Active version, against an advance of € 1,900 (excluding VAT, 48 months and 40,000km).

KINTO ONE is a complete rental product, which includes roadside assistance, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, RCA insurance, fire and theft and Kasko.

In the launch phase, the fire and theft insurance and Kasko coverage will have respectively uncovered and deductible at 0 €.

Pay Per Use Insurance

With the launch of Aygo X comes Pay Per Use Insurance, Toyota’s new Mileage RCA insurance policy. A complete product, unique in Italy, which provides for pricing based exclusively on the kilometers traveled by the driver. Customers will be able to bear the insurance costs only according to the kilometers traveled, make the monthly payment based on the kilometers traveled the previous month and at the same time protect their privacy.

The cost is 3 euro cents per km (4 cents with the Collision option), for a minimum of € 25 and a maximum of € 75 per month. The price will be the same for each customer, regardless of the class they belong to or the geographical area of ​​residence.

Launch plan

The arrival of the cars is scheduled for the month of April, together with the first launch open weekends.

The car will also be previewed in February and March in the dealerships of the main Italian cities.
