2022 Ford Explorer 30th Anniversary

Autohome has obtained the official map of the 30th anniversary edition of the Ford Explorer. The new car is based on the 2020 Explorer, with red accents on the body details and a roof rack, making the new car more “adventure”. In addition, we learned from relevant sources that the 30th Anniversary Edition of the Explorer is expected to announce the pre-sale price on March 21 and launch during the 2022 Beijing Auto Show.

In terms of appearance, the new car is based on the current model and adopts a tough and powerful design style. The huge air intake grille looks imposing. The 30th Anniversary Edition adds red accents to the fog light area, which looks more dynamic. At the same time, the roof rack is very eye-catching, giving it a more off-road and adventure atmosphere.

The side profile of the new car is smooth, and with the cooperation of the raised waistline, it brings a certain sense of movement. At the same time, the red exterior mirrors, the red trim on the side skirts, and the text “WARRIOR” under the front door all highlight its distinctive identity.

The tail of the new car follows the current design, and the C-shaped taillight group is more delicate, which is in contrast with the “big man” figure, and the angular design still conforms to the tough positioning. The same red and black text on the side also reflects the difference of the new car.

In terms of power, it is expected to be the same as the current model, equipped with a 2.3T four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 276 horsepower and a peak torque of 425 Nm. In the transmission system part, the new car is matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
