2022 BYD Song Max DM-i

A few days ago, BYD officially released the official map of the 2022 Song MAX DM-i model. The appearance of the 2022 Song MAX DM-i continues the “Dragon Face” family design. The enhanced scale three-dimensional dynamic grille is more layered, and the new dragon beard design on both sides is complemented by chrome-plated bright trims and diamonds. Dragon Eye LED headlights make people shine. The side of the body is stretched and flexible, and the addition of “upgrade roof” does not affect the streamline design of the body at all, but adds a touch of outdoor feeling.

The dragon-claw-mark through-type taillights on the tail are also very recognizable, and the Longyue Nebula flowing water turn signal adopts an LED matrix design. It is reported that the 2022 Song MAX DM-i has 6-seater and 7-seater models to choose from, among which the “upgrade” models are all 6-seater. After the “upgrade”, the 2022 Song MAX DM-i is as high as 1880mm, and the internal space is more spacious.

The official revealed that the new car will adopt a new interior design. According to the previous declaration from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new car will be equipped with a DM-i plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L engine + electric motor. The 1.5L engine code-named BYD472QA has a maximum power of 81kW, and the permanent magnet synchronous motor model is TZ220XYE. The power reaches 145kW, and the comprehensive fuel consumption of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is 0.9L/100km. In terms of batteries, the car is expected to be equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries.
