About the Car

2022 Audi e-tron US Version

Audi of America today announced updates to its lineup for the 2023 model year, including pricing, vehicle packaging updates, and new standard and available equipment.

The 2023 model year changes emphasize the brand’s growth in the premium segment as a leader in technology innovations and producing quality vehicles. Additionally, by the end of 2022, Audi plans to have more fully electric models on sale in the United States than any other luxury brand. The Audi e-tron, e-tron S, e-tron Sportback, e-tron S Sportback, Audi e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT, will be joined by the Audi Q4 e-tron, and Q4 Sportback e-tron.

2022 Audi e-tron - US Version

The brand’s first fully electric SUV returns for the 2023 model year with new trim enhancements. The previously optional black headliner has now been made standard for the 2023 e-tron Sportback. Other standard features for the 2023 e-tron Sportback occur largely in the Prestige trim level. Standard on the e-tron Sportback Prestige trim are 22-inch 5-spoke-Turbine design bi-color wheels, dynamic orange front and rear brake calipers, rear side airbags with illuminated safety belt buckles, and Digital Matrix-design headlights. Additionally, the Black optic exterior package on the e-tron Sportback comes standard with the Prestige trim level. The sport-oriented e-tron S and e-tron S Sportback see the addition of carbon square structure inlays and the LED interior lighting plus package as standard. Rounding out the changes, the Prestige trim level of both the e-tron S and e-tron S Sportback now receive Digital Matrix-design LED headlights as included equipment.

Also, for the 2023 model year, the potential federal tax credit of up to $7,500 is still expected to be available to customers for both models.

Convenience Plus Package complements new Premium trim

In response to customer feedback, enhancements have been made to every category for model year 2021 e-tron vehicles for a more accessible and well packaged portfolio. Unique to the e-tron SUV, in addition to the entry Premium trim is the available distinct Convenience Plus Package, featuring the Driver assistance package and Black exterior trim kit including matte black grille, front and rear bumper trim and on the e-tron SUV, matte black roof rails.

Continued commitment toward a sustainable future

The e-tron and newly introduced e-tron Sportback mark the first and second fully electric models in the Audi brand‘s commitment to 30 percent of the U.S. model lineup being fully or partially electrified by 2025. After the introduction of the e-tron SUV in spring 2019, plug-in hybrid derivatives of Audi Q5, A7 and A8 have joined the U.S. lineup. On the EV front, the recently introduced e-tron Sportback is expected to be followed by the fully electric e-tron GT high-performance sport sedan and Audi Q4 e-tron compact SUV. The e-tron SUVs are manufactured in Audi’s first vehicle assembly plant in Europe certified as carbon-neutral by Belgian testing company Vincotte and represents one of the many steps contributing toward a more sustainable future.
