On June 9, the AITO brand officially released the official map of the appearance of its M5e. As the first pure electric SUV of the AITO brand, the new car is the same in appearance design. It can be seen that, compared with the already listed Wenjie M5 extended-program hybrid version, the main change of this Wenjie M5e comes from the front face. The new car adopts a closed front design, officially called the “shark nose” shape. The front surround of the car has air ducts on both sides, allowing air to enter laterally from the front of the car and exhaust from the rear of the wheel housing. Under the simple lampshade, the headlight group has a new lamp cavity design, which makes the new car look more technological.
In addition, the official also revealed that the new car will come standard with 19-inch wheels and a low wind resistance design. The high-end models will provide 20-inch wheels with a large-area closed design to further reduce the drag coefficient.In terms of size, the M5e has a length, width and height of 4785/1930/1620mm and a wheelbase of 2880mm.
Although the official picture of the rear of the new car has not yet been announced, from the previous declaration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the rear of the new car has not changed significantly compared with the program-added hybrid version. Black trim is accentuated. As for the interior, we expect that the new car will also continue the design of the models on sale and continue to be equipped with the Hongmeng vehicle system.
In terms of power, judging from the information reported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, it is expected that the Wenjie M5e will launch a dual-motor version to choose from. The maximum power of the front and rear motors is 165 kW and 200 kW respectively. At the same time, the new car will be equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery.
