ŠKODA AUTO Russia announces the start of accepting orders for the ŠKODA RAPID Sport Edition. The new version of the popular liftback will be a bright addition to the brand’s model range in Russia. The cost of the Sport Edition special version for RAPID in the Ambition trim level is 1,215,000 rubles. Especially for Russian customers, ŠKODA AUTO Russia is presenting the Sport Edition for the first time, which embodies the brand’s commitment to motorsport. The first ŠKODA vehicle in this unique design is the RAPID urban liftback. A compact model with a dynamic character, it stands out for its striking details and original design elements in black.

The sporty appearance of the new ŠKODA RAPID Sport Edition is visible at first glance. All exterior details – decorative sill trims, high-gloss side mirrors, a branded radiator grille and exclusive 16-inch Stratos alloy wheels – are finished in the characteristic black color scheme. The front fenders feature the Sport Edition logos and the boot lid features black ŠKODA and RAPID lettering.

In the interior of the car, the black seats with contrasting red stitching are the most noticeable. The interior is also complemented by a multifunctional three-spoke sports steering wheel, black headlining and chrome pedal pads.

A special version is offered on the basis of the Ambition trim level. In addition to the standard equipment – air conditioning, electronic stability control, as well as LED running lights and rear lights, the ŠKODA RAPID Ambition equipment includes: front side airbags, heated front seats, rear power windows, front fog lights, cruise control, heated outside mirrors and windshield washer nozzles. Communication technologies include the SmartLink platform for smartphone connectivity and apps, Bluetooth and two USB-C ports on the back. In addition, a six-speaker Swing sound system is available as standard on the Ambition package.

The cost of the ŠKODA RAPID Sport Edition in the Ambition package is 1,215,000 rubles. MSRP applies to model year 2022 vehicles and includes a motorist’s kit.
