The British premium car manufacturer MINI presents the MINI Rockingam GT Edition, a limited edition of just 50 units that celebrates MINI’s racing heritage and the performance of today’s MINI John Cooper Works Clubman (combined fuel consumption : 7.9 – 7.4 l / 100 km according to WLTP, 7.0 – 6.6 l / 100 km according to NEDC; combined CO2 emissions: 180 – 168 g / km according to WLTP, 161 – 151 g / km according to NEDC). A name that celebrates the world of motorsport, in fact the acronym GT was used in the seventies to define sporty MINIs, while Rockingham recalls the historic Rockingham Motor Speedway circuit in the United Kingdom, where several MINIs competed. For the MINI Rockingham GT Edition, the excursion to the track is a more than welcome opportunity to demonstrate the qualities of the driving technology and chassis developed through solid know-how in the field of racing, combining the qualities of a compact wagon with those of a true sportswoman. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology develops a maximum power of 225 kW / 306 hp and a maximum torque of 450 Nm. The furious temperament allows acceleration from zero to 100 km / h in 4, 9 seconds. The top speed of the new MINI models is electronically limited to 250 km / h.

The launch control function of the standard 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission ensures perfect acceleration from stationary. The MINI Rockingham GT Edition is available in the following colors: White Silver, Chili Red, Midnight Black and Moonwalk Gray. All paint finishes are combined with the roof, exterior mirror caps, door handles and headlight and taillight surround in black. These exterior features are complemented by a dedicated design for the side Side Scuttles, black stripes on the car’s sides and bonnet with a red contrasting line and the GT logo, also present inside the dashboard.
