Recall that the Fiat Cronos was the best-selling sedan of 2020, with 16,558 units. The growth of this model in the month of January made one out of every two sedans marketed in Argentina -or 50%-, a Fiat Cronos.
The excellent performance of the model occurs within the framework of the campaign that the brand deployed last year and is still in force, called “Tiempo de Cronos”, with important benefits for customers, such as an exclusive discount of up to $ 150,000 and an amount of up to $ 1,000,000 financed over 6 years at a fixed rate, with the first installment at 90 days.
The Cronos is produced in the industrial complex in Ferreyra, Córdoba, and ended 2020 with a total of 33,587 vehicles manufactured. In line with its current performance, a strong increase in production is estimated for 2021 to meet the growing demand.
Argentine car versions
In Argentina, the Fiat Cronos is available with the Drive and Precision trim levels. The first has a Firefly 1.3 gasoline engine that delivers 99 horses and 127 Nm of torque and is combined with the five-speed manual gearbox, and the Precision version is associated with the 1.8 E.torQ Evo VIS gasoline engine (intake manifold variable) with 130 hp and 182 Nm, together with the five-speed manual gearbox or the six-speed automatic gearbox. On the mechanics and equipment of the Drive we can also find the S-Design version and, on the mechanics of the Precision, the Style and Premium pack.
