The long and sleek engine compartment lid, the passenger compartment moved far to the rear, and the short overhangs front and rear impressively visualise all those classical attributes so typical of BMW: Within the engine bay lurks a longitudinally mounted straight-six conveying its power to the rear axle in the interest of supreme driving dynamics.
