2028 Zenvo Aurora Tur Arrives Closer to Production
The 2028 Zenvo Aurora Tur has taken another meaningful step toward production with its public reveal in customer specification at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Two validation prototypes have been brought to the event, giving visitors their first proper look at both the finished exterior and the cabin that future owners will receive. It is an important moment for the Danish manufacturer as the Aurora moves from development into its final testing phase before customer deliveries begin.
Grand Touring Shape with a Clear Purpose
Zenvo positions the Aurora Tur as the grand touring member of the Aurora family. While it shares its architecture with the more track-focused Agil, the Tur leans toward long-distance usability without giving up the performance expected from a modern hypercar. The proportions remain dramatic, with a low roofline, mid-engine layout, carbon composite construction and integrated underbody aerodynamics helping shape both its appearance and airflow.
Rather than chasing visual drama for its own sake, the design follows the company's Scandinavian philosophy, where every surface and component is intended to serve a purpose. That approach has been part of the Aurora project from the beginning and continues into the production-ready version shown at Goodwood.
A Cabin Built Around the Driver
Although Zenvo has not released a detailed breakdown of the interior, the production prototypes displayed at Goodwood feature the customer cabin specification for the first time. The company says every major component has been developed with the driving experience in mind, placing equal emphasis on driver engagement and passenger comfort.
Hybrid V12 Delivers the Headline Numbers
Power comes from an all-new 6.6-litre quad-turbocharged V12 developed with MAHLE Powertrain. On its own, the engine is targeted to produce 1,250 bhp while revving to 9,800 rpm. It is paired with three electric motors, lifting combined output to a targeted 1,850 bhp and 1,700 Nm of torque. An eight-speed hybrid transmission sends power to all four wheels, with front-axle torque vectoring included as part of the drivetrain.
Zenvo estimates the Aurora Tur will sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds before reaching a projected top speed of 420 km/h. Those figures place it among the quickest road-going hypercars currently under development.
Limited Production and Market Position
Only 50 examples of the Aurora will be built, reinforcing its position as a highly exclusive hypercar. Each car will be designed, engineered and hand-assembled in Denmark, with first customer deliveries expected during the second half of 2027. The Aurora Tur enters a small group of hybrid grand touring hypercars, but Zenvo is clearly focusing on creating something that combines extreme performance with genuine road usability rather than chasing lap times alone.
