The Torcal becomes Bentley's fourth model line and its first fully electric production model.
Torcal S produces 888 PS and 1,350 Nm, reaching 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds.
A 113 kWh battery provides up to 600 km of WLTP range with 400 kW charging.
The 2028 Bentley Torcal opens a new chapter for the Crewe manufacturer. Revealed in London on September 23, 2026, it becomes Bentley's fourth model line and the company's first fully electric production car, while introducing a design and interior philosophy intended to influence future models.
Bentley will launch two versions, the standard Torcal and the more powerful Torcal S.
Low SUV Proportions Introduce A New Bentley Face
Led by design director Robin Page, the Torcal takes the form of a low, sleek SUV. A long wheelbase, short overhangs and what Bentley calls an “endless bonnet” give it a stretched stance. At the front, an illuminated diamond grille and lighting influenced by the Continental T establish a different face from today's Bentley range.
The body itself is deliberately clean. Fewer character lines put more emphasis on the surfacing, particularly around the rear haunches, where the cabin tapers inward and the body builds outward over the wheels.
At five metres long, the Torcal is actually Bentley's shortest four-door model. Standard cars ride on 21-inch wheels, while the S receives 22-inch ten-twin-spoke wheels.
Wool And OLED Screens Meet Traditional Bentley Details
The dashboard retains Bentley's wing-inspired architecture, mixing leather, wool, veneer and aluminium with knurled physical controls and redesigned bullseye air vents. Curved OLED displays are joined by an augmented-reality head-up display.
Material choice goes beyond the usual leather and veneer. Bentley has developed a 100 percent Merino wool automotive fabric, while Mulliner offers layered Ombré Walnut and Sunburst Aluminium finishes.
The standard front seats provide 16-way adjustment, heating, ventilation, adjustable bolsters and massage. Behind them is a three-person rear bench with Bentley's first powered rear-seat folding system. Cargo capacity is 460 litres, supplemented by a 90-litre front compartment.
Dual Motors Deliver Up To 888 PS
Two permanent-magnet synchronous motors provide all-wheel-drive propulsion. The standard Torcal develops 821 PS and 1,194 Nm, reaching 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. Torcal S raises output to 888 PS and 1,350 Nm with Launch Control, cutting that time to 2.9 seconds. Top speed is 260 km/h.
Energy comes from a 113 kWh net-capacity, 800-volt battery. Bentley quotes up to 600 km of WLTP range, while 400 kW charging can add roughly 161 km in seven minutes.
Fully active suspension and standard rear-wheel steering add another technical layer, with the latter reducing the turning circle to 11.1 metres.
The Torcal is designed, engineered and built in Crewe, placing Bentley's first EV alongside its existing combustion and hybrid models rather than replacing them outright.
