A Sharper, More Aggressive Face

Aston Martin didn't soften anything with Valen's front end. Deeply recessed, slimline headlamps sit hooded beneath a plunging bonnet line, paired with a more angular radiator aperture, a bold geometric mesh grille, and a sharply angled front splitter. Design chief Marek Reichman describes the car as a significant departure from previous Aston Martins, built around sharply sculpted lines meant to reflect aggressive dynamics rather than the brand's usual restraint.

Proportions Built Around a Muscular Stance

The bonnet carries a single top vent with perforations at its trailing edge, while the traditional Aston Martin side strake has been sharpened, elongated, and folded into a functional vent that pulls air from the wheel arch and routes it along the flanks. A stepped sill cinches the waistline between muscular front and rear fenders, and saw-tooth vortex generators on the sill's trailing edge pull high-speed air from underneath the car to cut lift. New side-glass quarter windows round out a profile Aston Martin says is meant to give Valen its own distinct identity, separate from the rest of the V12 lineup.

Cabin Focused on Weight and Driver Connection

Inside, the priority is visual lightness matching the physical weight savings elsewhere in the car. A slim centre console, enabled by 3D-printed components, angles toward the driver and carries over the performance-focused switchpack first seen on Valhalla. Buyers choose between newly developed Sports Plus seats built for long-distance comfort or lightweight carbon fibre performance seats for a more track-oriented setup. Trim choices run from a Semi-Aniline Leather and Alcantara mix up to full Semi-Aniline Leather, across five material splits, with quilting coverage expanding at each tier.

Power Numbers That Set a New Aston Martin Record

The 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 makes 850PS and 738 lb-ft of torque from 2,500-5,000rpm, which Aston Martin calls the most powerful front-engined production car in the world and the most powerful front-engined car the company has built in its 113-year history. Power routes through a rear-mounted eight-speed automatic with bespoke calibration and an electronic rear limited-slip differential, using shift strategies developed for Aston Martin's Vantage GT4 race programme. Five drive modes — Wet, Sport, Sport+, Track and Individual — retune the drivetrain, steering and chassis, and throttle mapping itself changes by mode, shifting from a shorter, more urgent pedal map on the road to a longer, more progressive one on track.

Everyday Usability Hasn't Been Abandoned

Despite the performance focus, Aston Martin built in some daily-use consideration. The car's fixed rear window and trunk lid are replaced by a solid tailgate opening onto a 170-litre boot, with an optional Touring Pack luggage set and a soft tailored cover to protect paintwork when loading cases. New Pirelli P Zero R tyres are joined by a bespoke P Zero Winter 2 option developed specifically for Valen, and Pirelli's Cyber Tyre technology — developed with Bosch Engineering — feeds real-time tyre data to the car's stability and traction systems, though Aston Martin notes it isn't available in every market.

An Exclusive Slot Above the Existing V12 Range

Valen sits at the top of a lineage that includes the One-77, Vulcan, Victor, Valour, Valiant and V12 Vantage, continuing Aston Martin's pattern of naming these specials with a hard "V." Production is strictly limited to 150 cars worldwide, positioning Valen as more exclusive than the 333-unit V12 Vantage that preceded it. First deliveries are scheduled for Q2 2027, with configuration open now through Aston Martin's online configurator.
