Open-air grand touring with an unmistakable Italian character
The 2027 Touring Superleggera Veloce12 Aperta isn't simply a convertible version of the Veloce12 Coupe. It has been developed with a different purpose in mind, placing the journey ahead of the destination. The latest model is designed for weekend escapes, scenic drives and the kind of trips where the road itself becomes part of the experience.
Built as a limited-production grand tourer, the Aperta stays true to Touring Superleggera's coachbuilding heritage while introducing a removable roof system that changes the personality of the car in just a few minutes. The result is a machine that feels equally at home on coastal roads, mountain passes or relaxed countryside drives.
A familiar silhouette with thoughtful changes
Its proportions remain instantly recognizable, yet there are several details that distinguish the Aperta from the Coupe. Two lightweight roof panels can be removed by hand and stored neatly within a dedicated compartment, allowing drivers to enjoy open-air motoring without sacrificing practicality.
An aluminum arch stretches behind the cabin, becoming one of the car's defining design features. It creates a smooth transition from the cockpit to the rear deck while maintaining the elegant, sculpted profile Touring Superleggera is known for. Carbon-fibre bodywork also helps preserve the lightweight philosophy that has long defined the brand.
A cabin designed around the journey
Open the door and the emphasis on craftsmanship becomes obvious. The interior pairs light upholstery with deep burgundy leather and Alcantara, giving the cabin a warm, tailored appearance instead of relying on oversized screens or futuristic styling.
Touring has also devoted unusual attention to luggage. Behind the seats sits a thoughtfully designed storage area capable of accommodating custom leather and aluminum travel cases created with Rimowa and Giosa Milano. With up to 327 litres of luggage space available when the roof is fitted, the Aperta is intended to be more than a weekend showpiece.
A naturally aspirated V12 takes centre stage
Beneath the long bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 5.5-litre V12 producing 503 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. Power is delivered exclusively to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, reinforcing the car's analogue approach to driving.
Touring has paired the engine with a high-flow Supersprint exhaust, a carbon-reinforced chassis and TracTive adaptive suspension. Estimated figures include a 0–100 km/h sprint in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h. With the roof removed, the sound of the V12 becomes an even bigger part of the experience, filling the cabin without electronic enhancement.
