2027 Porsche Cayenne S Electric E4 UK Version
By Lorenzo Bianchi October 21, 2026
The Porsche Cayenne S Electric produces 544 PS as standard, increasing to 666 PS with Launch Control. It accelerates from 0–62 mph in 3.8 seconds and reaches 155 mph.
Model-specific Volcano Grey Metallic front and rear aprons, 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels and optional Porsche Active Ride distinguish the S from the entry-level model.
The electric SUV offers up to 405 miles of WLTP range, charging from 10–80 per cent in under 16 minutes under optimal conditions. UK prices start at £99,900.
Cayenne S Electric Expands Porsche's SUV Lineup
The 2027 Porsche Cayenne S Electric E4 UK Version joins Porsche's growing electric SUV range with 666 PS available under Launch Control and a starting price of £99,900 in Great Britain.
Announced on 10 March 2026, the S sits between the standard Cayenne Electric and the range-topping Cayenne Turbo Electric.
It is the third version of the electric Cayenne, adding 224 PS over the entry model alongside model-specific exterior detailing and access to performance equipment previously reserved for the Turbo.
Volcano Grey Details and 20 Inch Aero Wheels
Porsche distinguishes the S with front and rear aprons finished in Volcano Grey Metallic. The inserts and rear diffuser are painted in the body colour, creating a different treatment from the contrasting apron surfaces.
Standard 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels complete the package. Porsche's announcement does not provide separate body measurements, wheelbase figures or changes to cabin packaging, so the styling revisions are more firmly documented than any differences in proportions.
Buyers can select from 13 exterior colours and multiple interior and accent packages.
Dual Electric Motors Deliver Up to 666 PS
A permanent magnet synchronous motor at each axle provides electric all-wheel drive. Combined output is 400 kW (544 PS), rising to 490 kW (666 PS) with Launch Control.
Porsche quotes 0–62 mph in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph.
The rear motor receives direct oil cooling, designed to manage temperature under sustained load, while its silicon-carbide inverter handles currents up to 620 amps.
Optional Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus and Porsche Active Ride broaden the chassis specification. Ceramic composite brakes with yellow callipers are also available.
Sport Chrono and Push-to-Pass are offered, with the latter providing up to 90 kW for 10 seconds. A Track mode preconditions the battery for circuit use.
Up to 405 Miles of Range and Rapid Charging
Combined WLTP range reaches 405 miles. Porsche also quotes peak DC charging of up to 400 kW under specified conditions, with a 10–80 per cent recharge taking less than 16 minutes at a suitable charger.
Those figures are conditional on charging hardware and battery temperature. They place the S between everyday long-distance usability and the performance expected of its position in the Cayenne range.
Green Leather Interior Package Offers Personalisation
Porsche has introduced an optional Interior Style Package across all electric Cayenne versions, not solely the S.
Coordinated with Mystic Green Metallic paint, it combines Black and Delgada Green leather across the seats and door panels.
The package includes 14-way adjustable Comfort Seats, coloured stitching, embroidered Porsche crests and Izabal Green aluminium trim.
The GT sports steering wheel receives green detailing, with matching accents for the drive-mode selector and instrument displays.
The release does not identify new cabin screens or interior dimensions specific to the S.
UK Price and Position in the Electric Cayenne Range
The Cayenne S Electric is available to order in Great Britain from £99,900 including VAT and country-specific equipment.
The optional Interior Style Package costs £9,540 for the S.
With the base electric Cayenne below it and Turbo above, the S adds a substantial increase in output without requiring the flagship model.
