2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid SR

The e-POWER system delivers 225 hp through dual electric motors, while a 1.5-liter turbo engine operates solely as a generator.
SR models receive unique fascias, SR-specific wheels and gloss-black exterior accents.
The SR Technology Package adds 14.3-inch displays and is the first Rogue Hybrid version to reach dealers in fall 2026.
The 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid SR brings a clearer performance angle to Nissan's first U.S.-market e-POWER SUV. The SR sits between the SV and Platinum, but the Technology Package version gets an early start: it reaches dealers in fall 2026 before the wider Rogue Hybrid range follows in early 2027.
Its biggest change is underneath. Nissan's e-POWER arrangement means the gasoline engine never drives the wheels directly. Instead, propulsion is always electric.
SR Gets Its Own Fascias And Wheels
The new Rogue Hybrid adopts what Nissan calls a “Refined and Tough” design, combining clean body surfaces with a wider, more athletic stance. A geometric front fascia incorporates a hexagonal honeycomb grille and integrated LED headlights, while sharper fenders contrast with relatively uncluttered bodysides.
SR models go further with unique front and rear fascias, dedicated wheels and gloss-black accents. An available full-width LED taillight crosses the liftgate. Eight exterior colors and five black-roof two-tone combinations are offered across the range.
14.3 Inch Displays Available On SR
Every Rogue Hybrid receives a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SR can be upgraded to a 14.3-inch infotainment display with Google built-in, including Google Maps, Google Play and Google Gemini.
The SR Technology Package also gets a 14.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Physical climate controls remain, while available 64-color ambient lighting provides another layer of cabin customization.
Practicality is familiar Rogue territory. Cargo capacity reaches 31.1 cubic feet behind the second row and 65.9 cubic feet with those seats folded. Rear doors open nearly 90 degrees, and five rear LATCH anchors provide more flexibility for child-seat placement.
Electric Motors Deliver 225 HP
A dedicated 1.5-liter turbocharged engine acts as a generator and can shut down when battery charge is sufficient. Nissan quotes 42 percent thermal efficiency for the system. Two electric motors provide a combined 225 hp and standard all-wheel drive, continuously varying front-to-rear torque distribution.
Nissan targets 40 mpg city, 36 mpg highway and 38 mpg combined for the SR, based on internal testing and still subject to EPA confirmation.
SR Technology Package Arrives First
The SR also offers Auto Lane Change and Hands-off Traffic Jam Support when equipped with the Technology Package. An upgraded ProPILOT Assist system uses a new radar, wider-view camera and revised software.
That combination of SR-specific styling, available larger displays and the 225-hp e-POWER drivetrain gives this trim a distinct position between the entry SV and more equipment-focused Platinum.
