The lineup includes 490 CV, 590 CV Trofeo, and 760 CV Folgore versions.
Maserati has redesigned the front end, introduced new wheel designs, and updated cabin controls.
The Folgore gains efficiency improvements and a claimed driving range of up to 508 km.
2027 Maserati GranCabrio Expands Open Air Lineup
Maserati has unveiled the 2027 Maserati GranCabrio, giving its four-seat convertible a comprehensive update focused on design, usability, and powertrain refinement. The latest version continues the formula that has defined the model for years: an open-top grand tourer that combines long-distance comfort with the performance expected from the Trident badge.
The revised range now consists of three distinct versions. Buyers can choose between the 490 CV GranCabrio, the 590 CV Trofeo, and the fully electric 760 CV Folgore.
Refreshed Styling Without Changing The Formula
The exterior changes are concentrated at the front, where Maserati has redesigned the bumper and air intake layout. The new nose adopts a stronger sharknose appearance while revised air curtains and cooling ducts have been developed to improve airflow around the front wheels.
At the rear, the GranCabrio receives updated LED taillights with new clear lenses. The familiar proportions remain intact, with a long bonnet, prominent fenders and a low-slung silhouette continuing to define the car's appearance.
A new Trident wheel design joins the range. Beyond visual changes, Maserati says the wheels increase track width by 10 mm, contributing to improved stability and cornering precision.
The fabric roof remains central to the GranCabrio experience. Available in five colors, it can be opened in 14 seconds and closed in 16 seconds at speeds of up to 50 km/h.
A More Modern Cabin
Inside, Maserati has concentrated on areas drivers use every day. The new steering wheel adopts a motorsport-inspired shape with flat upper and lower sections, while the redesigned digital clock now features an octagonal design, metal outer ring and updated graphics.
A revised PRND selector introduces three-dimensional metal controls intended to improve ergonomics and tactile feedback. New graphics have also been rolled out across the digital displays.
Technology remains a key part of the cabin. The GranCabrio features a 12.3-inch central display, an 8.8-inch comfort screen, a 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster and an available head-up display. A new driver fatigue monitoring system has also been added.
V6 Power Or Full Electric Performance
The petrol-powered models continue to use Maserati's twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre Nettuno V6. Available in 490 CV and 590 CV outputs, the engine incorporates the brand's Formula 1-derived pre-chamber combustion technology and cylinder deactivation system.
For buyers looking to go electric, the GranCabrio Folgore remains the headline-grabbing option. Its three-motor powertrain delivers 760 CV, while updates for 2027 include aerodynamic refinements, revised control strategies and an AWD Disconnect system designed to improve efficiency.
Maserati says these changes help increase the Folgore's range to as much as 508 km.
