2027 Marc Philipp Gemballa Marsien GT
By Lorenzo Bianchi August 11, 2026
Built on the Porsche 992 Turbo S, the Marsien GT is limited to 30 examples, raising total Marsien production to 70 vehicles.
RUF Automobile's engine upgrade delivers over 830 horsepower and 930 Nm of torque, reaching 0-60 mph in 2.4 seconds.
Pricing starts at EUR 770,000 net of taxes and duties, excluding the base vehicle, with deliveries planned for the end of 2027.
Marc Philipp Gemballa is taking the Marsien in a different direction with the Marsien GT, unveiled August 10 in Monterey ahead of its Pebble Beach debut. Where the original Marsien was built around Paris-Dakar-inspired all-terrain capability, the GT strips that off-road identity away and points the same design language squarely at the road. It's the second model in the company's growing collector-car portfolio, and it's limited to just 30 examples — a number that pushes total Marsien production to 70 vehicles worldwide, a figure chosen to mark the 70th anniversary of Uwe Gemballa.
A Full Carbon Body With Active Aero
Every Marsien GT starts life as a Porsche 992 Turbo S before undergoing what the company describes as a transformation involving roughly 1,500 individually engineered components. The exterior is built from more than 100 carbon fiber panels, including a rear section that stretches from the A-pillar all the way to the rear wing. Active front fender louvres vent high-pressure air from the wheel housings to cut front-axle lift, while a raised, angled active rear wing adds downforce at speed and doubles as an air brake. A roof scoop feeds the intercoolers, separate ram air intakes serve the engine, and side-skirt intakes route air to the rear brakes — all controlled through a pneumatic system Gemballa says reacts instantly.
A Lower, Lighter Stance Than the Standard Marsien
The full carbon fiber underbody, in place of the standard car's aluminum floor, contributes to a total weight reduction of 75 kilograms compared with the base 992 Turbo S. Ground clearance sits at 100mm in its standard road-focused setting, though a front-axle nose lift can raise the nose by 60mm to clear driveways and speed bumps — a practical touch on a car this focused. Six-spoke forged aluminum wheels with center-locking hubs, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires sized 275/35 ZR20 front and 335/30 ZR21 rear, fill out the stance.
Interior Built Around a CGT-Inspired Console
Inside, the center console has been raised and fitted with an aluminum gear stick inspired by the Carrera GT, paired with hand-stitched badging and paddle accents. Buyers can specify carbon fiber or mahogany gear knobs in place of leather or Alcantara, along with a full carbon interior package and an optional club sport roll bar. Each car carries a numbered badge in the console marking its place among the 30-unit run.
RUF Power and Akrapovič Sound
Porsche engine specialist RUF Automobile handles the powertrain, pushing the twin-turbo flat-six past 830 horsepower and 930 Nm of torque, with a second-stage upgrade beyond 900 horsepower in development. That's enough for a 2.4-second 0-60 mph time and a 330 km/h top speed. A titanium quad exhaust system built by Akrapovič handles both the exhaust note and the rear-end visual signature.
Everyday Usability and Positioning
Between the front-axle lift, the retained all-wheel-drive layout and the GT badge itself, Gemballa is clearly positioning this car as more livable day-to-day than the original off-road-capable Marsien, even as pricing starts at EUR 770,000 net of taxes, excluding the donor vehicle. Series production begins in 2027, with first deliveries expected by the end of that year.
