The 2027 Lamborghini Urus SE Performante takes the brand's plug-in hybrid Super SUV in a more focused direction. Rather than simply adding more power, Lamborghini has reworked almost every area that influences how the vehicle drives, from aerodynamics and suspension tuning to weight reduction and cooling. The result is the quickest Urus produced to date while keeping the everyday usability expected from the model.
Sharper styling with a functional purpose
At first glance, the Urus SE Performante looks noticeably more aggressive than the standard Urus SE. A new carbon-fiber hood, larger front air intakes and redesigned bumpers immediately stand out, but they aren't there just for appearance. Lamborghini says these changes improve airflow, cooling and aerodynamic efficiency.
The side profile also gains a stronger stance thanks to wider bodywork, exposed carbon-fiber wheel arches and newly designed 23-inch Y-spoke wheels. Around the back, a larger carbon-fiber diffuser works alongside dual rear spoilers and a motorsport-inspired rear wing to generate more downforce while giving the SUV a lower, broader look.
A cockpit built around the driver
Inside, Lamborghini sticks with its "Feel Like a Pilot" philosophy. The cabin receives new upholstery, Y-shaped trim details and extensive use of CorsaTex by Dinamica microfiber alongside exposed carbon fiber. A redesigned steering wheel and aviation-inspired switchgear reinforce the performance-focused atmosphere.
Technology has also been updated. A new 12.3-inch central touchscreen features revised graphics, while a matching digital instrument cluster provides vehicle data, navigation and model-specific telemetry for spirited driving.
Hybrid power with even stronger performance
Power comes from a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 working alongside a permanent-magnet electric motor. Together they produce 812 CV (596 kW) and 1,000 Nm of torque, making this the most powerful Urus ever built.
Performance reflects those figures. Lamborghini quotes a 0-100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 10.8 seconds, and a 312 km/h top speed. The 25.9 kWh battery also allows the SUV to travel for more than 60 km using electric power alone under suitable conditions.
Chassis upgrades go beyond extra horsepower
Perhaps the biggest changes are underneath the bodywork. The Urus SE Performante introduces Lamborghini's new AURA dual-chamber air suspension, designed to reduce body roll while delivering a smoother ride during everyday driving.
The SUV also gains Rally mode for loose surfaces, joining Strada, Sport, Corsa and EV modes. A wider track, revised Integrated Power Brake system and predictive vehicle controls work together to improve steering response, stability and braking without sacrificing comfort. Lamborghini also claims a 32 kg weight reduction through extensive carbon-fiber components and a titanium Akrapovič exhaust system.
Positioning at the top of the Super SUV segment
The 2027 Lamborghini Urus SE Performante is aimed squarely at buyers who want the versatility of an SUV without giving up the driving character expected from Lamborghini. It combines electrified performance with substantial chassis development instead of relying solely on extra horsepower.
Against rivals such as high-performance luxury SUVs, the Urus SE Performante stands out through its extensive use of carbon fiber, advanced hybrid system, dedicated Rally mode and track-focused engineering, while still offering the practicality that has helped define the Urus lineup.
