2027 Karma Eximius 1

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • The 2027 Karma Eximius 1 is the first commission from Karma Automotive's new Eximius bespoke programme, unveiled at the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas.

  • Its planned 6.2-litre V8 plug-in series hybrid powertrain develops nearly 1,200 hp, with estimated acceleration from 0–60 mph in 2.7 seconds and a top speed exceeding 200 mph.

  • Carbon-fibre construction, 21-inch centre-lock magnesium wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes and Öhlins semi-active suspension accompany a customised four-seat interior.

Karma Eximius 1 Introduces Bespoke Track Performance

Karma Automotive has unveiled the 2027 Karma Eximius 1, a one-off, four-seat performance car developed through its newly established Eximius personalisation programme.

Presented at the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, the vehicle remains under development with an undisclosed customer, with delivery planned for 2027.

The programme allows customers to collaborate directly with Karma's engineers and designers on extensive changes to bodywork, performance and powertrain architecture.

Carbon Fibre Bodywork and Borealis Blue Paint

The Eximius 1 features an extensively modified exterior combining exposed carbon fibre with Borealis Blue paint.

The bonnet and front doors carry a gradual transition between the two finishes, while wheel-arch extensions increase the vehicle's width by 50 mm.

A carbon front splitter sits below large air intakes incorporating Karma's Target Acquisition Lighting.

Rotated through 45 degrees, the lighting elements create a distinctive opposing-chevron signature.

The bonnet features a sweeping Comet Line inspired by Halley's Comet, accompanied by vents above the front wheel arches.

Magnesium Wheels and Rear Aerodynamics

The Eximius 1 rides on 21-inch satin-black magnesium wheels with centre-lock fastening.

These reduce rotating and unsprung mass, while carbon-ceramic brakes use two-piece slotted rotors.

Öhlins semi-active suspension forms another part of the planned chassis specification.

At the rear, a full-width GT wing provides aerodynamic downforce, while a large diffuser manages airflow beneath the vehicle.

Twin exhaust outlets emerge behind the driver's-side front wheel.

Four Seat Interior With Recaro Carbon Buckets

Inside, blue-tinted carbon fibre covers sections of the seats, doors and flat-bottom steering wheel.

The front occupants receive Recaro carbon-fibre bucket seats trimmed in blue Alcantara, Italian leather and Moondust Alcantara.

Exposed carbon-fibre doors incorporate individual armrests, while machined aluminium pedals reinforce the competition-focused arrangement.

A simplified centre console houses the gear selector, window switches, key holder and emergency kill switch.

The rear compartment accommodates a custom-fitted carbon-fibre racing helmet secured by a matching blue strap.

Nearly 1200 HP V8 Plug In Hybrid Powertrain

Karma plans to equip the Eximius 1 with a 6.2-litre V8 plug-in series hybrid system producing nearly 1,200 hp.

The proposed configuration combines 550 hp from the combustion engine with 645 hp attributed to the battery-powered portion of the system.

Estimated performance includes 0–60 mph acceleration in 2.7 seconds and a maximum speed exceeding 200 mph.

These figures remain development targets rather than independently verified performance results.

Bespoke Production and 2027 Delivery

The Eximius 1 is a single commissioned vehicle, not a conventional production model.

Karma's Eximius programme allows individual customers to commission cars that will not be repeated.

The first completed Eximius 1 is scheduled for delivery in 2027, following further development and engineering work.
