Heritage-focused special edition celebrating 85 years of Jeep history.
Plaid interior trim and unique exterior accents define the design.

A Milestone Edition in Jeep’s Anniversary Year
Jeep has revealed the Wrangler 85th Anniversary Edition as the third exclusive model in its yearlong Twelve 4 Twelve celebration, marking 85 uninterrupted years of off-road leadership and brand identity.
Introduced in January 2026, the model follows the Wrangler Moab 392 and the Wrangler Whitecap, continuing a steady cadence of commemorative releases rather than a single headline-grabbing launch.
The positioning is deliberate. This is not a mechanical outlier or performance flagship. Instead, it is a design-led edition intended to reflect Jeep’s heritage while retaining the core Wrangler formula that has defined the nameplate for decades.
Jeep Americana-Based External Cues
The small yet thoughtful details make the Wrangler 85th Anniversary Edition stand out at first glance.
The 17-inch steel oxide-painted wheels and bronze tow hooks contrast visually with the bodywork, and the model's function is subtly indicated by Blue Agave 85th anniversary plaques and stickers.
The Wrangler's otherwise functional shape is softened by body-colored fender flares, which give it a more polished appearance without sacrificing its upright proportions. The familiar boxy silhouette, flat surfaces, and exposed hardware remain intact, reinforcing continuity rather than reinvention.
Interior Design and Heritage Details
The strongest statement is made inside. Plaid seat inserts take centre stage, each featuring an 85th anniversary seat tag. The instrument panel and midbolsters feature matching plaid details, giving the cabin a referential sense without going overboard.
Additional commemorative touches include an 85th anniversary shifter medallion and cupholder plaque, while Berber floor and cargo mats underscore the Wrangler’s dual-purpose role as both daily transport and trail companion.
Features and Capability Package
The 85th Anniversary Edition is equipped with Jeep’s Convenience Group as standard, bringing heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, remote start, and keyless passive entry. Alpine premium audio is also included, alongside deep-tint windows, Gorilla Glass windshield, heated mirrors, and automatic headlamps.
Lighting and safety technology are current rather than experimental. LED headlamps, daytime running lamps, and fog lamps are standard, as are advanced safety features such as adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning with advanced braking. Optional upgrades include black or body-colour hardtops and a no-cost all-terrain tire option.
Market Position and Pricing Context
The Wrangler 85th Anniversary Edition carries a package price of $710 MSRP over a comparably equipped Wrangler Sport S with Convenience Group and Alpine audio, with a starting MSRP of $46,300 excluding destination.
