2027 Jeep Commander Overland Field Style Edition

The limited edition is based on the seven seat Commander Overland and adds equipment aimed at camping and outdoor use.
Every example gets Field Style Edition decals and a digital rearview mirror with an integrated drive recorder.
Production is limited to 100 units, split equally between a Jeep side tarp package and a Snow Peak Field Rise rooftop tent package.
The 2027 Jeep Commander Overland Field Style Edition takes Jeep's three row SUV in a more camping-focused direction. Based on the Commander Overland, the Japanese-market limited edition adds dedicated exterior graphics, recording technology and a choice of two equipment packages designed around spending time beside, or on top of, the vehicle.
There is one date distinction. Stellantis Japan announced the vehicle on August 28, 2026, with sales beginning September 12.
Dedicated Graphics Mark Out the Field Style
The basic Commander body is retained, including its upright seven seat SUV proportions. What changes visually is the Field Style Edition decal treatment. Press images on page two show the graphics running across the lower doors and appearing around the Commander badging, adding a subtle outdoor-themed pattern rather than substantially changing the bodywork.
Two colors are available. Brilliant Black Crystal accounts for 60 of the 100 vehicles, while Pearl White Tri-Coat is limited to 40.
Wheel dimensions, tire specifications and Field Style-specific suspension changes are not stated in the release.
Seven Seats Meet Camping Equipment
The Commander Overland already provides three rows and seating for seven, and the Field Style Edition builds its practical appeal around that layout.
All 100 vehicles receive a digital rearview mirror with an integrated drive recorder. It provides a high-resolution rearward image while also recording driving footage.
From there, buyers choose between two 50-unit packages.
Side Tarp or Snow Peak Rooftop Tent
The standard package adds a new genuine Jeep car-side tarp, side wall, basket rack and locking roof rack. As shown in the press photography, the tarp extends from the side of the Commander to create a sheltered area alongside the SUV.
The alternative uses Snow Peak's new Field Rise rooftop tent. Its inflatable air-frame structure is designed to simplify setup and packing, while an aerodynamic roof rack supports the installation. The images on pages three and four show the tent raised above the Commander, creating a sleeping area on the roof.
Powertrain Specifications Are Not Detailed
Pricing starts at ¥6,490,000 including tax for the standard package. The Snow Peak Field Rise version costs ¥6,600,000 including tax. Stellantis notes that the prices include paint that is normally optional on the base model.
With only 100 examples available, the Field Style Edition is positioned less as a mechanical derivative and more as a factory-supported outdoor configuration of the seven seat Commander.
