2027 Geely Monjaro EM-i

The five-seat plug-in hybrid SUV is based on Geely's GEA EVO platform and arrives in Australia in the first half of 2027.
A 1.5-liter turbo engine, two electric motors and battery of up to 40 kWh provide up to 170 km of WLTP electric range.
The cabin combines a 15.4-inch touchscreen with a 25.6-inch ultra-wide head-up display and heated and ventilated front seats.
The 2027 Geely Monjaro EM-i will become one of six new Geely models heading to Australia during 2027, extending the brand's local range with a five-seat plug-in hybrid SUV. It is already being shown publicly at the Everything Electric Show in Sydney, with an Australian launch scheduled for the first half of next year.
Underneath is Geely's GEA EVO platform, with Continuously Controlled Damping suspension and a chassis tuned by Geely Technology Europe.
Five Seat SUV Gets 19 And 20 Inch Wheels
What is confirmed is a choice between 19-inch and 20-inch wheels, along with front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. Exterior colors will include Sunlight Gold, Sky Blue, Night Black, Lunar Grey and Cloud White.
Plug In Hybrid Targets 170 Km EV Range
The Monjaro EM-i combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with two electric motors. Its battery capacity will reach up to 40 kWh, although Geely has not provided individual motor outputs or a combined system power figure in the supplied material.
Electric-only range is quoted at up to 170 km on the WLTP cycle. With the petrol engine factored in, Geely targets a combined driving range of as much as 1,137 km WLTP.
The drivetrain also supports vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle functions with output of up to 6.6 kW, giving the battery a role beyond simply powering the SUV.
Cabin Centers Around A 15.4 Inch Screen
Inside, a 15.4-inch touchscreen forms the main interface, backed by a 25.6-inch ultra-wide head-up display. A surround-view monitor is also included.
Front occupants get heated, ventilated and massage-equipped seats, while rear-seat heating is also listed. Buyers will have several interior choices, including an optional brown suede-like trim.
Australian Launch Set For Early 2027
Geely has not announced Australian pricing or final specifications. The Monjaro EM-i and Emgrand L EM-i are both scheduled for the first half of 2027, ahead of the more off-road-focused Battleship 700 later in the year.
That places the Monjaro EM-i in the family SUV portion of Geely Australia's growing electrified range, with its long electric-only capability and available AWD providing the main points of distinction [Inference].
