2027 GAC Motor YUE 7

The 2027 GAC YUE 7 uses a boxy off road layout with short overhangs and available air suspension providing up to 310 mm of ground clearance in wading mode.
Its cabin combines an octagonal instrument cluster, 1.1 metre P HUD and 15.6 inch 2.5K touchscreen, backed by more than 40 physical controls for key vehicle and off road functions.
The YUE 7 is designed around camping and overland use, with a 1.9 metre flat sleeping platform, 37 reserved modification points and a 1.6 tonne towing capacity.
The 2027 GAC YUE 7 is getting closer to production, and this time GAC has opened the doors. Following the SUV's exterior debut, the company has revealed the full cabin, showing how seriously it is taking the YUE 7's split personality as an urban SUV and an off road vehicle.
It is not subtle. Octagons appear almost everywhere, but there is more going on here than a recurring styling theme. GAC has packed the cabin with physical controls, configurable storage and hardware intended for camping and vehicle modifications.
Boxy Proportions Serve A Practical Purpose
From outside, the YUE 7 follows a familiar off road recipe: upright glass, short overhangs and a squared body. GAC's Octagonal Design Language shapes the windows, wheel arches, bumpers, lights and even the door handles. The air suspension model can provide as much as 310 mm of ground clearance in wading mode.
There are some unusual details when viewed more closely. The matrix headlights use textures inspired by phased array radar, while the rear gets stacked three dimensional lamps. Buyers will also have several wheel and tire combinations and three tailgate configurations to choose from.
The Cabin Mixes Screens With Real Buttons
The dashboard doesn't abandon physical controls in favor of one giant screen. Instead, GAC combines an octagonal instrument display with a 1.1 metre P HUD and a 15.6 inch 2.5K central touchscreen. The main display supports continuous OTA updates.
Then come the buttons. More than 40 physical controls are spread through the cabin, including aviation inspired overhead switches. The center console provides direct access to the differential locks, air suspension and terrain modes, while two configurable steering wheel buttons can operate off road functions or added equipment.
The seats use grid stitching with soft leather, additional lateral support and airbag massage functions. Three cabin themes are offered: Sand Gold, Black and Cloud White.
It Can Turn Into A Small Campsite
Practicality goes beyond luggage space. The rear seats fold electrically to form a 1.9 metre full flat sleeping platform, providing 2.3 square metres of usable area and 950 mm of headroom. Second row seats can slide electrically through 170 mm, with backrests adjustable between 117 and 127 degrees.
MOLLE panels on all four doors and threaded mounting points can hold phones, radios and outdoor equipment. Outside, 37 reserved modification points, dedicated engine bay wiring and waterproof roof rail power connections allow accessories to be fitted without drilling into the body. Towing capacity is rated at 1.6 tonnes.
