The 2027 Ford F 150 Carhartt is the second Ford pickup to emerge from the company's workwear collaboration, following the Super Duty Carhartt introduced earlier in 2026. This time the treatment moves to the F 150, with Ford concentrating on materials, textures and detailing rather than simply applying a special color and badge package.

The model shown in the supplied material is preproduction, and Ford notes that the final production vehicle may differ. Availability is scheduled for early 2027.

Carhartt Graphics Give the F 150 Its Identity

Ford deliberately connects the F 150 Carhartt visually with its Super Duty sibling. The exterior graphics use a related treatment, creating a recognizable link between the two special editions without making the F 150 an exact copy.

The fender badge carries a texture that also appears inside the truck, tying the exterior treatment to the cabin materials.

Cabin Takes Inspiration From Duck Canvas

The clearest Carhartt influence is inside. Designers started with the brown shade associated with the workwear company's duck canvas, then built the rest of the material palette around it.

Seats use a two tone treatment intended to resemble the construction of a Carhartt jacket or bib. Ford describes a yoke, seam and contrast panel, reinforced visually by Carhartt's signature triple stitch. Grey sections reference the tougher character shared with the Super Duty, while brown introduces the warmer workwear inspired element.

Even the floor mats receive a specific treatment. Their surface texture takes inspiration from the bottom of a Carhartt tool bag, with the same pattern carried onto the exterior fender badge.

F 150 Keeps Work and Recreation in Focus

Ford positions the regular F 150 between jobsite use and recreation, and that distinction shaped this version. The company describes owners using the truck to tow to a worksite during the week and then heading away for a family camping trip at the weekend.

That thinking also separates it from the more work-focused Super Duty Carhartt. The F 150 treatment is intended to reflect a truck used both during and after working hours.
