2026 Fiat Pulse Abarth Scorpionissima

Abarth introduced the Pulse Abarth Scorpionissima as a concept at the 2026 Festival de Interlagos, built as a design and market study rather than a confirmed production model.
The car borrows its acid-green accents and Scorpionissima badge from Abarth's Italian lineup, adding a gloss-black hood, suede seat trim, and a scorpion-themed startup animation on the digital cluster.
It's based on the existing Pulse Abarth, Brazil's quickest compact SUV, which makes up to 185 hp and reaches 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds.
A Concept, Not a Launch
Fiat used the 2026 Festival de Interlagos to show off the Pulse Abarth Scorpionissima, and the automaker was upfront about what it is: a concept built to gauge how buyers react to a more aggressive, Italian-flavored visual direction for the Abarth brand in Brazil. There's no production commitment attached to it. The idea, according to Fiat, is to test the design language before deciding whether any of it reaches showrooms.
The exterior leans on cues lifted straight from Abarth's Scorpionissima models sold in Italy. A glossy black hood sits over the nose, and acid-green accents show up both outside and inside the cabin. Abarth also gave the car its updated badge lettering, described as a sportier, more modern take on the brand's script.
Interior Space and Technology
Inside, Fiat swapped in suede upholstery and stitched a Scorpionissima signature into the seats, a detail meant to push the cabin's perceived quality up a notch. The signature touch is a digital instrument cluster that plays a short animation on startup, showing a scorpion in motion before projecting the Scorpionissima name.
Powertrain and Performance
Fiat points to the regular Pulse Abarth as the mechanical basis here, and that car is already the quickest compact SUV sold in Brazil, with up to 185 hp on tap and a 0-100 km/h run of 7.6 seconds. Whether the Scorpionissima concept carries the exact same tune isn't something the release addresses directly.
Market Positioning
Fiat picked Interlagos deliberately, leaning on Abarth's long-running ties to motorsport and speed. Frederico Battaglia, who heads Fiat and Abarth for South America, framed the project as a way to bring Abarth's Brazilian visual identity closer to its European roots while still nodding to Carlo Abarth's legacy.
