2027 Ferrari CZ26

The Ferrari CZ26 is a one off Special Projects model created for a US client and based on the SF90 Stradale.
Its 1000 cv plug in hybrid system combines a 797 cv twin turbo V8 with three electric motors.
New aerodynamics, a two box silhouette and bespoke cabin distinguish the CZ26 from its SF90 foundation.
The 2027 Ferrari CZ26 is the latest one off to emerge from Ferrari's Special Projects programme, this time developed for a US client around the mechanical foundation of the SF90 Stradale. Ferrari Design, led by Flavio Manzoni, has given it an entirely different visual identity while retaining the donor car's technical specifications.
A Two Box Shape Changes the SF90 Formula
The
CZ26 moves away from the familiar SF90 body with an unusually
horizontal, two box profile. Ferrari describes the central volume as a
capsule supported visually by four muscular wheel arches. From the side,
black roof and pillar trim separate the cockpit from the body and make
the upper section appear lighter.
At the front, a full width
functional grille incorporates ultra slim concealed lighting, brake
cooling intakes, sensors and other technical components. The rear takes a
similarly geometric approach, using a truncated tail, cantilevered
lights and a wide horizontal diffuser.
There are hints of 1970s Italian industrial design in the treatment, according to Ferrari, although the functional components are integrated directly into the surfaces rather than applied as separate decoration.
Argento Veloce silver covers the body, contrasted by Rosso Lampante details and pigmented carbon fibre. CZ26 specific wheels combine gloss black paint with a shot peened surface treatment, while natural finish titanium exhaust outlets remain clearly visible at the rear.
Bespoke Materials Carry the Theme Inside
The cabin follows the exterior rather than introducing a separate design theme. Black technical fabric forms the visual base, joined by specially developed seat inserts produced through additive manufacturing.
Rosso Lampante accents appear inside as well, along with a CZ26 embroidered logo. Ferrari also combines satin carbon fibre with a special gloss carbon weave containing metallic filaments. Body coloured sections extend onto the door panels and upper dashboard.
SF90 Hybrid Hardware Delivers 1000 CV
Underneath, the CZ26 retains the SF90 Stradale's plug in hybrid architecture. Its 3.9 litre twin turbo V8 produces 797 cv and 804 Nm, working with three electric motors for a combined 1000 cv. Electric motor output is rated at 162 kW, while the 7.9 kWh battery provides a stated electric range of 25 km.
An eight speed dual clutch transmission is retained. Ferrari quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 6.7 seconds and a 328 km/h maximum speed.
Aerodynamics Were Reworked Around the New Body
The mechanical specification may be familiar, but the airflow management is not. Ferrari repositioned the central radiator pack, introduced bypass ducts and redesigned the underbody and vortex generators. Air curtains manage turbulence around the front wheels.
At the opposite end, a large upper spoiler works with a dedicated diffuser, while new engine cover vents handle heat extraction.
CZ26 therefore sits outside Ferrari's regular model hierarchy. It is a one off rather than a new series production rival for another supercar, with the Special Projects programme allowing an individual client to commission unique bodywork around an existing Ferrari platform. Such projects typically take around two years to complete.
