2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee Launch Edition

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • The 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee Launch Edition makes an SAE-certified 600 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque from a high-output twin-turbo SIXPACK inline-six.

  • It runs a 3.6-second 0-60 mph time and an 11.8-second quarter mile, making it the quickest and fastest Super Bee ever, per Dodge.

  • The Launch Edition adds 16-inch Brembo brakes, 20-by-11-inch forged wheels, adaptive dampers and a switchable rear-wheel-drive mode.

Dodge is pulling the Super Bee badge out of storage again, attaching it to the most powerful SIXPACK-powered Charger built so far. The 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee Launch Edition lands with an SAE-certified 600 horsepower, over 100 more than the last Super Bee to wear the name. Dodge calls it the quickest, fastest and most powerful Super Bee ever, and the numbers back it up: a 3.6-second 0-60 mph run and an 11.8-second quarter mile.

Exterior Details Point to Function First

The Super Bee gets its own front fascia, and it's not just for show. Larger grille openings feed the cooling system, front brakes and auxiliary radiators tucked into the fascia's outboard corners. A new Fratzog badge in Dark Neutral Gray sits up front, while the extended splitter — a third longer than Charger Scat Pack's — keeps the nose planted at speed. Around back, a larger performance spoiler pairs with that splitter to balance the car at high speed rather than just adding drama.

Stance and Launch Edition Looks

Charger already claims the widest body in its class, and Super Bee leans into that with 20-by-11-inch forged wheels finished in gloss black, paired with Hyper Lime brake calipers visible through the spokes. Buyers get three Launch Edition colorways — the new yellow-green Sucker Punch, a stealthier Shady gray, and Diamond Black with Sucker Punch accents worked into the spoiler, fascia and bodyside graphics. Each carries the gloss-black "Stinger" graphics tied to the Super Bee visual identity.

Inside, a Bee-Specific Cabin

Cloth high-back performance seats mark a first for the modern Charger lineup, stitched in Silver and Sour Lemon thread with an embroidered Super Bee logo on the headrests. The steering wheel is new too, built for Super Bee with a dedicated RWD button and larger paddle shifters. A Super Bee-badged instrument panel rounds out the cabin changes, though the release doesn't detail infotainment screen size or software [Unverified].

Powertrain Built Around Repeatability

Under the hood is a high-output version of the 3.0-liter twin-turbo SIXPACK inline-six, running larger 56mm Garrett turbochargers for 600 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque — 200 horsepower per liter, which Dodge calls the highest power density of any muscle car built. Cooling capacity climbs more than 50% in the high-temperature circuit, aimed at surviving repeated track sessions rather than a single dyno pull. Reinforced half-shafts, a torque-reserve launch system and dedicated Track and Drag drive modes round out a package built for repeatable runs.

Everyday Usability Alongside Track Focus

Despite the track-oriented hardware, Charger's four-door sedan and two-door coupe body styles both remain available, and standard all-wheel drive stays in place with an on-demand rear-wheel-drive mode drivers can trigger at any speed. That mix of daily usability with a switch-flip path to tail-out driving separates Super Bee from a stripped-down track special.

Where Super Bee Sits in the Market

Dodge positions the Super Bee above the 550-horsepower Charger Scat Pack, putting it alongside the electric 670-horsepower Charger Daytona Scat Pack among the brand's performance flagships. [Inference] Its power figures would likely put it in the conversation with cars like the Ford Mustang GTD, though Dodge doesn't name direct competitors in its materials. Pricing hasn't been announced; Dodge says details will follow later this year, with production limited and built at the Windsor Assembly Plant.
