2027 Citroen AMI Outdoor

The AMI Outdoor is a limited edition finished exclusively in Khaki Green with contrasting white steel wheels.
It is the first closed body AMI with doors to receive a sunroof, previously associated with the Buggy version.
Outdoor graphics, a rear spoiler and a dedicated interior distinguish the new version.
The 2027 Citroen AMI Outdoor takes the familiar electric quadricycle and gives it a more leisure focused appearance. It forms part of Citroen's new Outdoor range alongside similarly themed versions of the C3 and C3 Aircross.
Citroen describes the AMI Outdoor as a limited edition, retaining the basic simplicity of the regular AMI while adding a collection of visual and practical changes. The announcement was made on September 22, 2026.
Khaki Green Gives The AMI A Different Look
The most obvious change is the exclusive Khaki Green exterior finish. Against it sit white steel wheels, with additional decals around the wheel arches. Outdoor themed stickers run along the lower sections of the front doors, while another Outdoor logo appears on the rear quarter pillar.
At the front, Citroen adds a trim strip around the upper section of the bodywork, emphasizing the AMI's familiar facial graphic. The rear gets a spoiler, a relatively simple addition that gives this version another recognizable detail from behind.
Dimensions, tire sizes and other chassis specifications are not provided in this particular release.
Closed Body AMI Gets Its First Sunroof
The bigger functional change sits above the occupants. For the first time, Citroen is fitting a sunroof to a closed body AMI equipped with doors. Until now, that feature had been reserved for the open sided Buggy version.
That makes the Outdoor something of a middle ground in the AMI family. It retains the weather protection and doors of the regular closed model while borrowing an open air element previously associated with the Buggy.
Migoo Graphics Appear Inside
The cabin receives its own color treatment rather than simply carrying over the exterior graphics. Citroen specifies a new seat color, with the Outdoor range's Migoo mascot incorporated into the backrest. Infrared colored seatbelts provide another contrasting detail.
A color pack adds several useful storage pieces: a dashboard glove compartment, bag hook, door pockets, floor mats, central net and smartphone holder. These are small additions, but relevant in a vehicle where usable storage has to fit within a very compact footprint.
Electric Drivetrain Carries Over
Citroen describes the AMI Outdoor as an electric micromobility model, but the supplied release does not provide battery capacity, motor output, driving range, charging time or performance figures for this edition.
