2027 Chevrolet Trailblazer Z71

The 2027 Chevrolet Trailblazer lineup includes three trims: Trailblazer, RS and the new Z71, which comes with standard all-wheel drive.
Z71 equipment includes off-road-tuned suspension, an underbody skid plate, sport-terrain tyres and a distinctive Jet Black and Storm Sky Gray interior.
Updated technology brings an 11-inch driver display, 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, Google built-in with Gemini and more than 20 standard safety features.
The 2027 Chevrolet Trailblazer receives a revised lineup, expanded safety technology and a new Z71 trim aimed at buyers looking for additional capability beyond paved roads.
Chevrolet has introduced Z71 to its smallest adventure-oriented SUV for the first time. The updated Trailblazer also gains a redesigned cabin, larger digital displays and additional convenience equipment.
Three versions will be available: the entry-level Trailblazer, RS and Z71. Dealership availability is scheduled for spring 2027.
Z71 Introduces Off Road Styling and Hardware
The most significant addition to the Trailblazer range is the Z71, a designation already familiar across Chevrolet's larger SUVs and pickup trucks.
The new version receives standard all-wheel drive, an off-road-tuned suspension and an underbody skid plate. Sport-terrain tyres complete the mechanical package, giving the Z71 equipment specifically intended for driving beyond conventional paved surfaces. Chevrolet has not detailed the revised exterior dimensions, wheel sizes or ground clearance measurements.
Three Trim Levels Replace The Previous Lineup
The 2027 Trailblazer range has been streamlined to three configurations. The entry-level version provides the starting point, while RS continues as a separate trim. Z71 now occupies the adventure-oriented position in the lineup.
Chevrolet's Z71 designation dates back to 1963, with the name becoming associated with additional off-road equipment on its full-size pickups from 1988. The badge is currently used on vehicles including the Silverado, Colorado, Tahoe, Suburban and Traverse.
Larger Displays and Gemini Technology
Inside, the updated Trailblazer receives an 11-inch driver information display and an 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. Google built-in with Gemini introduces updated connected functionality, supported by the vehicle's revised electrical and software architecture.
A new column-mounted gear selector frees space around the centre console. Retractable cupholders allow the storage area to be reconfigured, while rear passengers gain dedicated climate-control vents.
Z71 models feature debossed front-seat headrests and a Jet Black and Storm Sky Gray interior with orange accents.
More Than 20 Standard Safety Features
The upgraded architecture supports more than 20 standard safety and driver assistance features. Equipment includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Front and Rear Park Assist and Safety Alert Seat.
New standard systems include Reverse Automatic Braking, Side Bicyclist Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Braking and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking. A Rear Seat Belt Indicator is also included.
AutoSense Liftgate and Spring 2027 Launch
The updated Trailblazer offers an available AutoSense power liftgate, adding convenience when accessing the rear cargo compartment.
OnStar One is newly available with a 12-month included period, providing connected services such as Wi-Fi hotspot capability and video streaming.
