2027 Aston Martin DBX GT
By Lorenzo Bianchi October 1, 2026
4.0 litre twin turbo V8 produces 727 PS and 900 Nm, with 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds.
New 22 inch forged wheels, double vane grille and horizontal quad exhausts distinguish the GT.
Redesigned seats gain extra cushioning and memory foam, while chassis tuning targets improved ride comfort.
The 2027 Aston Martin DBX GT takes a different route from the performance focused DBX S. It uses the same 727 PS V8, but Aston Martin has concentrated on ride quality, cabin isolation and everyday comfort rather than giving the SUV a more aggressive character.
Aston Martin officially calls it the new DBX GT and schedules first deliveries for Q4 2026.
Double Vane Grille Changes The Front
The most obvious change is a new double vane grille. Split metal vanes, offered in bright or dark finishes, continue into the outer vents containing the daytime running lights. The arrangement visually stretches the front end.
Aston Martin also paints the lower bumper, side sills and rear diffuser in body colour as standard. Along the sides, a new two piece metal strake mixes polished and satin finishes.
At the back, four exhaust finishers now sit horizontally in pairs. Bright polished outer sections contrast with satin anodised inner surfaces.
New 22 Inch Wheels Prioritise Comfort
The DBX GT measures 5,039 mm long and 1,998 mm wide, with a 3,060 mm wheelbase. Standard ride height provides 190 mm of ground clearance, rising to 235 mm in its maximum off road setting.
New 22 inch forged wheels are standard, paired with Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season tyres. Aston Martin says this combination was selected partly to improve ride compliance and reduce road noise. Several 23 inch wheel designs remain optional.
Redesigned Seats Bring More Padding
Cabin changes go deeper. Both front and rear seats have been redesigned with revised bolsters, comfort curves and an extra 10 mm memory foam layer in the cushion structure.
The rear gains two individually sculpted seating positions while retaining five seat capability. A panoramic glass roof is standard.
Semi aniline leather, deep pile mats and GT specific quilting, perforation and embroidery distinguish the interior. Aston Martin says each front seat uses 691 metres of thread and 3,297 perforation holes.
Sound deadening around the doors, wheel arches and load area combines with acoustic laminated rear side glass to reduce outside noise.
V8 Still Delivers 727 PS
Under the bonnet is the 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 also used by the DBX S. It produces 727 PS and 900 Nm, driving through a nine speed wet clutch automatic transmission. Zero to 100 km/h takes 3.3 seconds and top speed is 310 km/h.
Carbon ceramic brakes measure 420 mm at the front and 390 mm at the rear.
Suspension Tuning Targets Daily Driving
A unique damper valve system is designed to filter small, high frequency road inputs. Throttle calibration has also been revised, while transmission software targets smoother, more consistent shifts.
The result positions the DBX GT alongside rather than above the DBX S. Both share the same headline performance, but the GT puts greater emphasis on comfort, quieter progress and long distance usability.
