Design and Proportions
The 2026 Zeekr 9X Ultra Version makes a strong visual statement — wide, tall, and unmistakably expensive. Built on the Haohan-S architecture, this large plug-in hybrid SUV takes cues from the Zeekr 009 but smooths them into a sportier form. The massive 120 cm grille dominates the face, flanked by diamond-matrix LED lighting and a subtle LiDAR unit at the hood’s edge. Every panel feels exaggerated — even the hood, which covers 2.15 square meters of sculpted aluminum.
Exterior and Details
The silhouette carries a yacht-like presence, with chrome brightwork tracing the D-pillar into what Zeekr calls a “flying bridge” roof design. The 22-inch forged mirror-finish wheels reportedly require 30 hours of hand polishing per set — excessive, maybe, but it works. Rear doors open nearly at a right angle, and the split tailgate can support 300 kg when lowered — ideal for luggage or even seating at scenic stops. The rear’s star-diamond taillight panel is laser-etched with over 42,000 facets, catching light like jewelry under sunlight.
Interior Craftsmanship
Inside, the cabin showcases Zeekr’s obsession with tactile luxury. Nappa leather stretches across all three rows, matched with Nordic wood trims and an Alcantara headliner crafted by hand over six and a half hours. Buyers can choose from Polar White, Amber Brown, or Moonshadow Blue interiors, complemented by 16.8 million-color ambient lighting.
Then there’s the indulgence: rotating zero-gravity second-row seats and a 17-inch rear entertainment screen. The Naim audio system, shared with Bentley, adds the final flourish — immersive and detailed. It’s lavish but not gaudy, a clear sign Zeekr wants to be mentioned in the same breath as Maybach GLS and Range Rover SV.
Performance and Tech
Power comes from Zeekr’s Haohan Super Hybrid system, producing a total of 1,030 kW through dual motors. The chassis uses AI-controlled adaptive suspension with an “intelligent armor” body shell for structural safety. Connectivity runs on a 16-inch 3.5K OLED display paired with a passenger screen, supported by Zeekr’s latest intelligent driving suite and 360° environmental sensing.
Starting at ¥47.59 million for the Ultra Version (¥48.59 million standard), early buyers receive luxury upgrades — Naim audio, a 17-inch rear screen, and electric steps valued at ¥85,000. Deliveries for the higher Hyper trim begin in November.
